Hey, does anyone know of any wrecker/workshop/friend/mum who might have a rb20det gearbox in perth for sale?. Ive gone thru the whole yellow pages and noone seems to have 1. I can buy eastern states...but it would cost more to move the thing, than to buy it. Cheers

im quite sure its a fuse, as i think theres a fuse for each side of the car. just give it a check

First remove the grill, then there should be 3 phillips head plugs, remove these. then under the wheel arc's theres 4 screws (2 on eahc side) remove these, then it should pop off...

Sorry to be so harsh, but its a sore point for me, as Ive had my skyline since i was 17, and I got zero respect from anyone due to other people on the road being tools. Did you get the alarm installed or whas it already in the car? has it ever done it since.? My alarm occasionally goes off for no damn reason, when its locked in the garage. Could have just been one of those things to file under the 'WTF?' pile.

First off: stupid idea doing burnouts not under controlled circumstances, its a good way to lose your licence in no time. And not a very top way to get respect from fellow skyline drivers. BUT: It may have something to do with the alarm on the wheels, some alarms go off when the car gets to a certain angle, or when the wheel is lifted off the ground, to stop people nicking your rims. Maybe the car had a bit of bodyroll when you where fanging it in circles.

Paul, nowdays these banners are getting very cheap to produce. I did some the other day, 4mtx1mt for about $160 (full color) Although, thats still alot of money for a club to fork out when setting up. I guess the really big question is...will it get used enough to warrant buying one?

you may be able to pop the dent yourself, you can buy a suction cup dent puller from super cheap for about $8, and they work quite well (provided theres no creases).

tell her i have a stock VU SS exaust muffler/tip she can have for $20. It is a quick bolt on to the regular exaust, i donno how it will sound though. I should have grabbed the rest of the system when i quit, but i didnt think i would have a use for it..

VERY hard to see with that heat sheild in the way, best bet is to get someone to look at it, perhaps when your getting oil changed next, or something My turbo looks 100% stock, but its not quite....noone would be the wiser unless they removed the turbo from the car.
