  1. Manilla - Philippines. Exactly the same thing there. Didnt get a change to drive myself but its just so logical and straight forward. Scared sh*t out of my wife though, but she got used to it eventually Same, police get payed crap-all, so a little honest corruption is tolerable
  2. Flower behind the ear was the a tradition of some residents of the pacific islands, such as Hawaii or Polynesia. "The flower behind the left ear means your heart is taken. This is because your heart is located to the left of your body. Behind the right ear means you are single and looking! Same as that wedding ring - left your spoken for - the right - free and available" PS, I personally think the origional meaning is nice coming if you are a traditional islander (its heritage thing) but it is stupid thing to do for westeners, esp on their cars. Frangipani's are probably more popular for "Pink Princesses" who would prefer a pink sticker, but are going with the white/yellow because its now seen as a stereotypically girly thing, and want in on the action.
  3. Ooo, nice. Do you have this available in a screamer spec also?
  4. Same, Guildford is sort of accessable to west sydney. I'm too lazy to install the stock airbox I have in the garage, besides I like my pod. If I buy one of these Josh can install it for me. Bonus!
  5. Yeah, my 400r bar was cool 5 years ago, but now everyone has one
  6. damnit, I dont read the forums for a month and see what I miss! I'm in for the second round if any~
  7. Thanks BB! So many things I want to buy, so little money! This or a HID bulb conversion, or new seats! Birthdays only come once a year ~_~
  8. What does a Nardi Personal wheel look like in comparison? I'd have only seen this Classic style before and am curious to the difference. I noticed this wheel from your Pic's from Japan thread, it looks so nice.
  9. Cool, these are what attachbetween the lower arms of the front suspension and the chassis right? Will it fit R33 GTSt? My stock ones and bushes are almost 180k old and perished, this will be easier than getting new bushes installed (plus all that extra castor goodness).
  10. Mmm, I'd grab them next time I'm in Newie, but lacking up-front funds cause I just got married. How much of a rush are you in to sell?
  11. Hey Kezza, that Blitz VGTT is the shiznit, I had one in my skyline when I first bought it, but it got taken out when I had a full python remote-start alarm/immobiliser (including Turbo-timer) installed and it got replaced. But noy the new python isnt working anymore and I want to swap back to the VGTT, I've looked for links or instructions but I couldnt find.
  12. I'm 6'2", R33 coupe is fine normally. But avoid one with a sunroof, they eat up about 2" of space. In rush hour I sometimes find myself at the lights picking strands of hair out of the roofliner, gross. Oh, and when you wear a helmet like at a track day or drags, you really have no room, did many laps of wakefield park with neck craned to the lside with the helmet bumping the sunroof glass.
  13. can you put some of the glamour-photos here for everyone to see? That is exactly the type of GTR I want dream about owning.
  14. Heres some quick vids, ran out of space online though. http://www.dragonback.com/jordash/skyline/.../M2U00255-u.MPG http://www.dragonback.com/jordash/skyline/.../M2U00256-u.MPG http://www.dragonback.com/jordash/skyline/.../M2U00257-u.MPG http://www.dragonback.com/jordash/skyline/.../M2U00259-u.MPG http://www.dragonback.com/jordash/skyline/.../M2U00260-u.MPG http://www.dragonback.com/jordash/skyline/.../M2U00263-u.MPG

    Gb#4 Hid Kits

Dosent H1, H3, H4, refer to set standards? Surely its not just descriptive of the base configuration. For example, H4 being the Hi/Low type, shouldnt there be a set distance from the base putting it at the correct focal position? Otherwise different brands would give non-consistant beam patterns. 16. The Maroon GTS or Craved?
  17. Ok-ok! I'll come. Don't twist my arm or anything.
  18. Can I come on your cruise too?
  19. Ebay says you are in Unanderra, near Woloongong. I'd like the R33 Heater core please. PM'd
  20. Sorry to hijack a little but this might help you sell. Just read in HPI #60 that Autobarn are able to provide a Blitz adaptor plate which will allow the RB26 intake manifold + individual throttlebodies to bolt on to RB20-25 heads. Couldn't find a price though. But Mmmm, 6 throttles... Helso, If all you want is a forward facing plenum (with single throttlebody) then a custom or the GReddy type might be easier. I would buy this if I had the funds. I cant stand looking at my RB25's crossover pipe, its so ugly and gets in the way when changing my spark plugs.
  21. Hey guys, I used to have a ring of light which surrounds the key ignition barrel. When I had the factory nissan central locking key-fob remote (which I have not seen anywhere else before, shame it got tossed when an aftermarket python alarm was installed) when I unlocked the car it would light up the circle and show me where to put the key in the dark. Other times you just open the car to get in and turn the headlights on before turning the key and it would also light up. After a few years now, my ring hasnt been lighting up anymore. I miss it. It will make an appearance every now and then, mostly when I tap the ignition surround it will come back on, but not as reliable anymore. Has anyone fixed this problem before?
  22. Hey Guys, The Auto-Up and Down functions are what burns out motors. I have read a few threads on this already and it seems to be the case for a few people. When the window is motoring up and down in auto mode, and the maximum excursion is reached (ie, it hits the stops top or bottom) resistance builds up from the motor, this will cause a spike in the amps being drawn and the smarts inside the curcuit will cut the power to the motor. My 33 has a problem with the switch because it is all floppy when you press down on it, and will stay down and not actually release properly even though I think it has. Needed to listen to the clicks audible from the relays in the regulator to eventually work that out The smarts in the circuit do not appear to be set out in a logical way that cuts power to the window motors in the first (pre-auto) position and this has been burning out my motors. I have already gone through 3 replacement motors. I have a EF Fairmont with a similar problem. The switch sticks when it auto-downs and I forget about it, the window stays down and wont raise again. But there is a safty circuit built in which resets itself when the car is switched on then off again. Geez, evan my dad has a 1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II with power windows, and it also has a reset circuit behind the glovebox with a button you press in the event a passenger leans on the switch for too long. I really wonder why Nissan just didnt put a fuse or something in there somewhere? I hate to think I am going to need a fourth motor again.
