Morning yall. Not a good 1 though. So im lying in bed last nite and i hear a car alarm go off. I figure since the4 parents have friends around its gonna be one of them drunkenly stuffing up and making theirs go off. I get up in the morning and hit the immobiliser when the key is in theon position as u usually do. The engine cranks over but it wont fire :confused: i look at the little batt, parkbrake lights etc and they are all off. The imobiliser is clicking on and off indicators flashing but no dice. I keep cranking it like the moron i am then get out, the fuse in the immobiliser is fine. I disconnect the batt and push the brake for a bit which only reset my clock and didnt do much else. Any ideas cause i hate paying sparkys

Yeh helps when u read the thread We are not saying u are going to crash, dont buy the car. But the reason ure insurance will be about 5k is because u run a very very high risk of doing exactly that. I see alot of people sell their car in or after the first year because they budgeted for fuel and purchase price and thats it. Cars are damn expensive, performance cars are insanely expensive. Hey if u got the cash flow then i guess why not but if u dont wanna be spending 75% of ure income on the car its prolly not a good idea.

I think pentae is right on the money. However if i were in ure shoes id be getting my r34 asap The ca-18det silvia is exactly what i would buy for my first car if i had my time again. They teach u the basics of a rwd sports car and they have a good feel to em. Drive one of those fr a year accident free and u will really learn alot about controling ure right foot and ure rear end. In my opinion if u start off in a abs, traction control ,bling bling machine u will never learn to drive well. That stuff has to be learnt the hard way. Yeh my mom used to work so ive pretty much done everything for myself. She hasnt worked in a while now but the habit still stuck around. I guess the old "if u want a job done right do it ureself" theory applies here. My bro is hilarious, he would rather eat 3 serving of noodles a day than make something else. Complete nut job me thinks.
