  1. ahh that blows, i thought u were gonna fill it with balls and put in a trampoline.............oh wait that was my plan wasnt it. You had a fair amount of lawn out the back of yours last time i saw it Niz. Means u get to clean up too
  2. Does it absolutely have to be grass? Last i recall cam had that massive warehouse. Man i loved that place.
  3. Public places are not so great for events. Street drinking, private property etc etc come to mind. Can i hear the sound of a pair of sumo suits?
  4. well they can have issues with you breathing all their precious air if they want to but why should you care? Its too damn easy to get stressed on teh road these days. Road work all the time, morons sitting in the right lane at moronic speeds. ppl seem to be worse than i remember when i was younger. However its a pointless excercise and sometimes you just have to just sit back and let it happen. Right lane disciplining is hard work, now days i just prefer to sit in a lane and relax. Helps if u have air con and a cd player.
  5. How did u know i have one of those!!! have i shown it to u before/>
  6. Jeez dont bother with a search eh, what are we the yellow pages? I dont think this thread is gonna have the desired effect.
  7. Bwhahaha I pioneered that technique when i cut some guy off in my grandmas 121 and then flipped him off. I reckon he went more nuts than the 2nd guy but man it was funny. totally me being plucktard though, bad karma.
  8. If they want to hit u let em. They pay for it not u, and new cars a pretty much all insured. Prolly not a good idea with a vh though. I find the ultimate tactic is to drive like u dont even know they are there, the most effective technique of doing this is to get in teh right lane and speed up to fill a gap and then sit next to the car next to u forming a roadblock but dont make it too obvious, they will try and go round so then u speed up again. By this time they are usually next to u and if u lift ure head back and look down ure nose at teh road it gives the impression of complete stupidity. I once did this to some guy and he followed me down the freeway screaming at me like a lunatic. I kept glancing over at him as he hung out the window yelling stuff and shrugged my shoulders. He gave me the window winding sign and yelled some more stuff at me so i did the i cant hear u sign. Man his face trunerd so red, then i took and offramp and he missed it, reckon he would have tried to follow though. Funny
  9. Sweet what a bargain!!! :uh-huh:
  10. Are those tickets still for sale? Ill give u $65 each for em, cant seem to find em anywhere else.
  11. Hmm i was thinking 2 months was a very conservative figure. That is below average for any engine swap or rebuild i have ever seen, unless its a mechs personal car or ultra good friend. I would also suggest that if ure gonna have an engine out do all the work you can on it, even if its just a basic head clean, re gasketing and what not. You dont want to have to do it a few months down the track as our friend distrubs suggests. Oh and get all new hoses dont re use them, they may look good but alot of the time they arent especially on a 1988 car. Pull em on and off a few times and they start to burst, crack and generally fudge up.
  12. I think maybe 2 months would be a more accurate figure, these things always take longer than expected. Im guessing that by the time its back on the road ud have paid around 3-5k for the car and that again for the new engine, thats if its stock with no new go fast bits. For that price you could probably pick up something better (s-13/r31 coupe)which is going to have less problems in the long run seeing as it hasnt been messed with. Worth thinking about
  13. That plate reader is a good idea. So if someone like me drives past i get highlighted. Seeing as the car is registered to someone with a supended license. Saves them from screwing over cleanskins i guess.
  14. BEEEPPP BEEEP BEEEP BLARRP K BAND!!!! BLEEPPP BLEEP Drives u insane.
  15. Just a little box thingy that beeps at you whenever it sees a petrol station, supermarket, bike with a tail light, red light, high tention powerline, mobile phone, cat, dog, road....... u get the idea. The high end ones are pretty good, they quiet down after a while so they dont beep all the time. You can get them mounted in ure dash like a stereo and the antenna sits behind the rear view mirror. They are not cheap though. I figure ure better of either not speeding or keeping an eye out for em. Ive always said if u cant see a speed camera u deserve to get caught, while they are not painfully obvious, you should be able to see them if your paying attention. Just the same as u should be able to see a kid or dog or something on the side of the road jump out at you. Speed cameras add to the fun of driving as a whole, sure you get caught sometimes but you can only blame yourself.........1 month to go
  16. Testify Skyzerr!!! Who says the import crowd are young and arrogant?
  17. Alright last chance, im thinking of keeping it now.
  18. Dropped price to 4k There has to be someone out there who wants a cheap bunky while at uni or something. Its reliable and has alot of spunk.
  19. Come awwwnn its a good deal. "this is not a bump"
  20. 1987 Nissan Auster xtt 5spd man ca-18det (rebuilt 10,000kms ago)- have receipts full elecs, adjustable susp, super tough polyurethane engine mounts, highflow muffler, good tyres, new rego, just been serviced, sun roof, pioneer stereo with remote, tinted windows, good interior. during rebuild (4.5k), the turbo was checked and there was no shaft play. Could use some new spark plug leads but runs well. excellent condition for an '87. The only one of its kind in Perth as far as i know and ive checked. Looks teh same as above but with matt black s14 5 spoke wheels. Asking around 4.5k but am negotiable. Prefer Perth Buyer unless you wanna pay for shipping. Wouldnt sell it but i lost my license so i cant use it anymore and it would be a shame to see it just sitting there, good bang for buck ratio. Found some more pics at http://www.g-root.jp/buyandsell/catalog/ni...an/index10.html
  21. Never!!!!
  22. Cmon Bully its not all that amazing, especially the super long stretch. At least the hay plain has curves and some big wheat silos and stuff, if it was that interesting they would have called it the actionbour. Gotta stop at the bite if uve never seen it though, man that place freaks me out, i hate heights. I dont think its really that unsafe. There is quite alot of traffic along the Eyre highway and u can always get a hand, wouldnt want to have an accident though, long way to hospital but thats what the landing strip is for i guess. I shudder at the thought of what a roo or emu would do to a skyline.
  23. i believe it was "moron" if im not mistaken.
  24. Hehe i always look like that, not the greatest photo in the world, i look kinda crazy. Cheers though Boost. Details in the performance forums for sale sect. How come SAU has no for sale sect anymore? well they do but i dont seem to be able to post in there. Yeh i do have an emotional attachment to it so im only gonna let it go to a good home. Its the only one of its type in perth so its almost a classic i reckon. Dont want some noob crashing it.
  25. As long as ure careful and drive during the day u shouldnt have problems with roos. They only come out at sunup and sundown. Watch out for the eagles though they will mess u up aswell. There is no 98 octane from BP Norseman till like adelaide from what i saw at the start of the year. Generally u would get 400km off a tank right? well that cuts it close for some stretches, u will have to stop at almost every pump. U could take a jerry full of tolulene, should be a fun trip all up, throw a swag in the back and off u go. It is long and boring but there is some cool sights, like that super long sweeper coming down off the plain (hint: thats where the cops got us) There are pay showers at Eucla but wear thongs or something, the real problem is all the crap u gonna need to take along, like the swag will fill the boot, the jerry will fill the baack seat, once u have clothes, water, food, it will be pretty heavy, and thats for 1 person. Wanna go to summernats do we? plan a few days for it, i only left one and didnt event leave teh war memorial or the fireworks shop.
