so u looking at making a braket? if you make a kit i would be keen on one!
this kit im looking at is to suit r32gtr non brembo. $400 posted with 350z rotors.
so i would need to machine the inside?
yep thats exactly what ill be looking at running. but on my 32gtst calipers. what width are 350z rotors? 30mm or 32mm.
and will the gtst calipers need to be machined to fit the 324mm rotor?
yeh i saw a thread which outlined what u meant about having to grind the inside of the caliper away..
so this def has to be done on a r32 gtst caliper?
cheers
no need to start a new thread..
my setup,
forged bottom end, tomei cams, plazmaman, gt3076 .82 ext gate, 740cc, z32.
gtr lift, surge tank, 044.
what power can i expect on e85 before my injectors come close to max?
cheers
bam, thats what i wanted to know!
the only thing that needs to be modded on the caliper to fit the adaptors is the bolt hole, needs to be filed out like1-2mm..
thats from what i have been told
nah, plazmaman and rb26 rocker covers dont have any nipples/ports to have a pcv valve..
so i was running in theory a "blocked off" system.
on a rb26 the pcv valve runs from the drivers side rocker cover breather to a nipple on a metal bar next to fuel rail.
totally understand.. old engine is out and stripped fully.. hahaha
was just interesting as running a plazmaman and and 26covers u cant actually run it..
nah just ripped the old motor out..
new one will be tuned tomorrow..
but wanted to know if not having the pcv valve is what caused the so called blowby?
hey,
sorry to make a thread but Question will get lost in the wasteland and want a clear answer.
now my old rb25 had oil blowby at the track (herd this is what rb's do at high revs) ok that fine.
bought rb26 rocker covers and mines cam baffles.
fitted these (removed pcv valve due to 26 covers not having them)
fitted plazmaman
plumbed my catch tank into the two breathers on the back of the covers with a kn filter on the tank.
now, as soon as these were fitted, i had oil vapour blowby coming from the catch tank setup.
any ideas on what to do?
i know this is very old, but saves starting a new thread.
as l0WRB stated,
after fitting rb26 rocker covers i have eliminated the pvc valve on my rb25.
this caused MASSIVE blowby, my catch tank filter had oil smoke pouring out of it..
how do i set up a pcv on rb26 covers on a rb25?
hey all,
have a front pair of r32 gtst brakes from my 1993 r32..
rotors are good prob just need a machine to remove surface rust from car just sitting.
calipers are good condition and never failed me.
pads are unknown but still good meat.
lockated in western subs of adelaide.
happy for pickup or post at buyers cost
$200!
cheers
my starts up tomorrow..
also, the fuel would also help with how long it lasts yeh?
like e85 would be better insurance than 98..
like if the tuner isnt as good than e85 will help allow for their lack of tuning skill.
would be interesting to see what fuels ppl are using on there stuffed engines?
im going e85 to keep it safe
but the thing is, i have just purchased r33 gtst brakes. herd there good once matched with good rotors and pads, can i use my brand new set of r32 gtst pads?
im running the qfm a1rms.
calipers and rotors are all factory.
lines stock
fuild not old.
im picking up some r33gtst front brake setup. i can use my qfm a1rms from my r32 brakes yeah?
cheers
