Cut And Polish will get out small scratches so depending on how deep they are.... Hi Just Jap (Steve)Is there much of a difference between the cut and polish and the headlight cleaner? it's just that you can get cut and polish anywhere for about half the price thats all and my headlights look brand new, please don't take this as any offence at all just trying to see what the differences are other than proce between the 2?

Ahh Yes good call GTRKen AGI in Bayswater where very good when i went to them. I lost (I'm not going into details how :-) ) my passnger floor mat sometime ago, i was getting desperate and a sydney company wanted $140 for 1 !!!!! how ridiculous!!!! So i looked around for ages! When i went there i described what i wanted. There was a young guy and an old guy the young guy said "Nah we don't have em, see ya later" then the old guy got off his ar*se and said hang on a minute... 5 minutes later comes back out and he found one for me! i asked how much and he said $15 i then said out aloud " BECAUSE YOU GOT OFF YOUR ARSE HERE IS AN EXTRA $10 for lunch!" The young guy just stared at me! So yeah if ya do go there and there are 2 guys as i described deal with the older one as he was great to me.... Always good to see the looks on peoples face when they haven't gotten off their arse and someone else who did gets a nice tip!! haahah!:uh-huh:

A close friend of mine and work colleague is also in the Silvia display. brendan underwood...used to own the R32GTR vspec from C-red plate 32VSPEC (check Speed mag) His car doesn't have many mods but is a nice clean example of a silvia...

Mods are panel work? SOme of us on the forums when looking for mods order direct from Japan.. I have saved Hundreds! As far as panel parts i was watching racescar a while back and they went to a place called Japwreck in Beckenham.... haven't been there myself but looked pretty sweet when they did the filiming....half cuts engine heaps of stuff.... anybody had experiences with these guys?

Heya Dude, it just so happens that i had to clean my headlights on the weekend! Ok it prob looks as though it's dirty on the inside but don't take the headlights off..... My friend who is a proffesional detailer (details Porsche GT3's!!! Ex Alf Babrbagello cars!) came round my house on Sunday to get my car ready for the show. I spoke to him about the skylne headlights and how they are always misty looking. He said that more than likely the plastic used on the headlights is quite old and it actually absorbs smog and exhausts from cars in front. He said watch this... got out deep cut Polish ( i nearly fainted to think he was gunna use it on my baby and ruin stuff! ) then started rubbing then KAZAAM! all gone... my headlights look brand spankin new!Give it a go. He said Any Cut & Polish will work as long as it is a deep cut and polish....

Yup same here, min e was proffesionally installed and thats where they whacked it... :uh-huh:

HAAHAH WHAT A PERFECT BDAY PRESENT!! Take her to the Auto Salon! I actually to my Gfriend to the last one.....she dislikes cars but when i took her and she saw dancers and smoke machines and flashing lights and Dj's and...... anyway she kinda enjoyed the whole atmosphere... i think auto salons have a good vibe about them coz everyone who goes to it is sharing a common interest..... Yeah there will be a few skylines in the show ND4SPD R32GTR speedworks R34 GTR!! that will be nice to see and i'd say a few more. In some of the car vids i have seen more interest is paid in the car park than the show itself :-) But there will be a motorkhana which should have a couple of bits of drifting in it! Schweet! Oh yeah and Strich9ine.....i still wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweat thinking about those photos :uh-huh:

Most of the car enthusiasts will wanna go that day who are DYING to see the cars. I went to the last one on the saturday and it seemed pretty busy.... Keep in mind that lots of people do go to church on Sunday's yes car lovers too so sunday morning and lunch might be quiet?? so i am going to be there basically the whole day saturday but prob in and out on the sunday... I could be wrong but i think Saturday will be better... Yeah PVA dent is fixed and payed a few extra $$$ for Respray aswell ... Looks Schweeeet! and my mags are polished now too! Oh also i took my mags off and did the brake calipers with my friends aswell... spoke to Macka on last cruise about it so thanks for you help on that one! looks nice!

My car is in the show and shine and the dyno shoot out... honeslty guys i aint expecting to win any trophies but i was happy to be asked to have my car put in... i aint gunna win the dyno shoot out i know that as ND4SPD is right next to me so there goes any idea of that... also went to speedworx and they have R34GTR with approx 600HP going into the comp so umm yeah so much for that... mine was asked apparently for it's ride height and it's look??? so will see how i go in the show and shine voting...i think people are asked to vote when they come in what car they like the most.... so yeah we will see how it goes... I will try to post a pic of my car...bare with me....it's not the best pic of my car but you get the idea...thought you fellas might like this as it has a chick in it... she does some promo work for rollaboyz events....

Heyas! Well i think some of you guys know that myself and Radium will be there....if memory serves me correct Radium is doing the driving events good luck with that dude!...my car will be there and i will prob be sleeping the night with it ... come over and say hi guys coz more than likely after setup i will be bored and the only thing left to do will be to watch the driving events and dyno.... I love Auto Salons but i am meant to be there for 2 days straight which can be a little bit too much...... Just got it detailed yesterday and is now off the road until Auto Salon....back to good old public transport for the rest of the week!

I have had my car for a year now and have only used my ABS once last winter...... ABS is good...i wouldn't pay HEAPS extra for it though depends what kind of a driver you are though... Haven't really thought about it much...you get a ABS dash light though It was wet roads and was on a cruise so even if i had normal brakes i prob would have been ok.....

Hey All i thought you all might be interested in this, A survey of independent petrol retailers in southern Sydney has found two-thirds are selling fuel containing ethanol at levels which car makers warn can damage engines and void manufacturers' warranties. The survey, carried out for the Herald by the fuel analyst, Oilcheck, found ethanol levels ranging from 10.6 per cent by volume to 21.6 per cent at the independent outlets in Sydney's southern and south-western suburbs. Australia's car makers have all warned that petrol containing more than 10 per cent ethanol can damage engines and, as a result, void warranties. Manildra, a major donor to the Coalition parties, sells through a network of some 200 independent petrol stations, most of them in the Sydney-Wollongong area. The three stations in the survey whose fuel was found to contain 20 per cent ethanol or more were: Park Petroleum, at 338 Princes Highway, Blakehurst, which contained 21.6 per cent; Volume Plus, at King Georges Road, South Hurstville, (20.8 per cent); AP Punchbowl, at the corner of Dudley and Punchbowl Roads in Punchbowl, (20 per cent). The three found to contain above 10 per cent were: EMES Petroleum, at 607 Canterbury Road Belmore, with 19.9 per cent of the additive; Freedom Fuel, in Loftus Avenue, Loftus, (16.3 per cent); Metro Petroleum, King Georges Road, South Hurstville (10.6 per cent). Fuel at three other independent stations surveyed had none of the additive. As well as having the potential to damage fuel systems and even paintwork because of its corrosiveness, ethanol can reduce performance. It increases petrol consumption by from 2.5 to 3 per cent for every 10 per cent of ethanol. Yesterday most of the outlets selling high ethanol blends were reluctant to speak to the Herald. But one, Richard Andary, of AP Punchbowl, said his supplies came from Manildra as well as other outlets, depending on who was offering the best price. This meant ethanol levels could vary widely. Michael Sahlaoui, manager of EMES Belmore, also said his supplier was Manildra and claimed "most customers" were aware of the ethanol content of his fuel - although it was not clearly identified

For 2 years when i was on my P's i went from Joondalup to Fremantle.... i thought that was hard enough.... If you guys can do this together you can do anything :uh-huh: Of course that was in my datsun 200b my first ever car the good old DATO! but it would have made things a lot more nicer if i had my skyline 5 years ago :-)

Heya Kyles i don't wanna put a damper on things but do you work or go to school in Joondalup? If so that is awesome but if not....well man it sucks living all the way out there.... I live in ILUKA bout 5 mins up from there and work in west perth and all my friends live near perth...it's such a hassle driving backwards and forwards and 1 hr of public transport! don't get me wrong it is BEAUTIFUL up there but just really far away from civilisation ...oh and friends (for me) R34 you live up our way aswell don't ya? what do you recon? the guy who i work with also dislikes living so far away....I'm trying to rent a house in Innaloo myself but pain trying to find someone to move out with thats right..... i don't think me and my gfriend are ready for that lving together stage....too many plates will be thrown at each other:p

In regards to the HSV bit well in the UK they get HSV v8 Supercharged as standard!! keep in mind the cost of it This is taken from EVO mag with the R35GTR concept on the front: 502bhp, V8 5665cc, 16v supercharged. 0 - 100KMH 4.5secs the question that i have is i thought HSV was aussie yet HSV are selling VERY high spec GTS's to UK why are we getting crap ones? why don't we get em? Next questions WHY IS IT BEING SOLD FOR 50,000 POUNDS!!! thats right approx $140,000!!! on the next page there is a RUF Porsche Boxter (RUF is like HSV for holden) going for the same price! It says later in the article for those with a TVR planning a family why not buy one of these this will be the perfect tonic.. HSV as a replacement for a TVR ..... i think not....

Heya Wassabi, If you already have a cat back exhaust then Brett at PSI can prob help! I got my full exhaust system (Dump Down pipe and hi flow cat) done with him added 20HP at the wheels, I have the dyno sheets to show this! i was VERY happy with his work and didn't charge too much at all! then i had SAFC and boost wound up a bit and it was another 20HP extra 40HP in 1 day made for quite an excitring drive home...need i say more:uh-huh: From my experience giv Brett at PSI a call..... some people have had probs but i don't want to start arguments but from the people that i have recommended to him such as IMACUL8 they are more than happy with him!

Yeah some people have to find out the hard way that organising cruises don't pay off:uh-huh: After Auto Salon i would like to organise a cruise this time i should have steel abrracades around my car at every stop and a sign on my rear windscreen that says "No drifting Boostzors allowed":D:shake: Yeah so i know auto salon is a few weeks away but if we can wait for a couple of weeks after that i will be in it :uh-huh: Also guys the Wed night drags are on at the motorplex would be great tohave a good turnout for one of those nights!
