Unfortunately I am having a few net issues here at work. From what i briefly saw of the site it looks like one of those number plate covers that when looked at on a side angle you can't see it but when looking dead on you can see the number plate dead on? is that correct? or is it a proper number plate? IS it actually a number plate that they make or a cover? If it is a cover don't bother..... One of the stereo stores..hmmm i think Ozcom (correct me if i am wrong) in Morley was selling them. My friends dad bought one for his car 1 week later he was pulled over and given a $100 fine. Don't beleive them when they sell the covers to you and they so "Oh yeah it is legal...BLAH BLAHBLAH!" Coz it aint and my close friend can prove it her dad told me himself.... So if it is a number plate FANTASTIC!!! but if it is a special cover...well....just remember what i have told you...1st HAND! not rumoured 3rd hand info that you read from america then chinese whispered through 5000 different e-mail addresses to Australia! RTR FM Used to do those REALLY cool voucher packs with discounts to nearly EVRERYWHERE!!! it was really good! for those of you who have the entertainment book it is exactly the same kinda thing but for about $10 - $20 cheaper! Is that book part of that pack of goodies you mentioned or aren't they doing the booklet anymore? My bro used to do the graveyard shift there on Fri - Sat night about 1 - 2 years ago they used to have some pretty nice tunes then, however throughout the day i hear opera sometimes so it is a bit of a mix! sometimes for the worst though.. there is a couple of stations in perth who are strictly dance stations but the recepetion is so crap form them i don't even bother to try to listen to them!

Hi guys well, had to check again but the official date is Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th of October.

I'm not too sure if details are FULL confirmed but so far we have been told Late October. We have been given dates but not too sure as to what the situation is. Not at claremont. but not too far away. Apologies for the vagueness i'm just not too sure as to what is to be said incase of any changes are to be made thats all.

Yeah i was gunna kinda keep all that stuff about my car in the show a bit quiet but in the rage that i was on Friday night just to make the guy feel worse about hitting my car i kinda let the cat out of the bag. :lol: Well apparently i was selected more for the looks of my car not so much the performance. I can't tell you an exact figure at the moment of the output on that car but last time it had 240RWHP however i am getting a couple of things done next week with c-red so i will be expecting a bit more than that at the wheels when finished there then over to PSI for a bit aswell, however as of yet i can't really tell you an exact figure when finished that is still to be determined. Also at the show i am whacking it onto the dyno there so will cross my fingers then :uh-huh: . Yeah apparently it's more for the uniqueness of the look of my car also manual with sunroof but a bit of power behind it shoudn't be too bad. I hope my car lives up to the expectations of what show cars really are. I have seen some very nice skylines and am unsure as to how good the quality of my car is compared to them. Guys when you do go to the auto salon and see my car i do understand that everyone has an opinion on everything and are allowed there 2 cents worth. I just hope i can still make you all proud to be skyline owners:uh-huh: and hopefully on behalf of you guys aswell be able to show other car enthusiasts how nice our skylines are.

I must Admit they are very good times! and like everyone else here am astonished! however IMMACUL8 who posts on here quite often at the time only had 12psi from a SINGLE turbo exhaust and SAFC and beat a twin turbo 300ZX with quite a few witnesses. I just have one question I am not doubting anything, but if they have such minimal mods and are able make 12.86 then how come a standard GTST with light mods and single turbo ATE the twin turbo 300ZX. No offence IMMACUL8 but i can't see your GTST doing a 12.5........ What were some of the other skylines times doing that night? did you manage to go up against any at all? I honetsly didn't think that 300ZX where that fast even with TWIN TURBO

It's bad for your health.... and car:D Was a good cruise though! sooo many cars there, when i came down the city west drive way my first thought was Hmmm perhaps 30 copies of the map wasn't enough!!! Oh how true it was!!! My friend how was with me is a V8 lover, not to hard to convert though when there was so many lovely examples of skylines there! How was the helipad stop? and cops hassle there? The hottie female cop said that she was going to have to park and grab my details and i said "Yeah no worries" i should have said just have my phone number and call anytime ahahah!! i really think she wanted PVA's number word on the street is your the mac daddy pimp and all the chicks know it, she was just using me to get to you Joe! HAHA nah thats the funny thing my car was Perfectly parked in between the lines and everything...i reversed it in nicely and all. He just said he couldn't see it.... Hmm me thinks that maybe he was hired by the government to hunt me down. I don't wanna whinge but i wanna tell you bad a day i had that day! 1)My gfriend of 2 years broke up with me the night before, 2)my tire blew in the rain at 7:30am in the morning ON THE FREEWAY! 3)got some good secondhand tyres on and he said they were 255's! they weren't they were 235's! 4)hopped in car and boost gauge showed 1.6 bar approx 22PSi! 5)i shat myself and had to drive from Morley to wangarra PSI at 20kmh to find that my EXPENSIVE boost gauge is playing up! (better than bung turbo i guess) 6)then at the cruise my car bumper gets reversed into and smashed!!!!!! I guess sometimes you just have to laugh at how unlucky in one day one can be!!!:uh-huh: Oh well sh*t happens huh!

Oh by the way skyzer just for your friend Roz yeah my friend Troy that was with me in the car is single for this week then next week taken then the week after single.... every time i see him he has broken up then gone back out again!!! strange boy!!

Heya Guys, Well first of all lemme say thanks all for showing up at that cruise besides the little *incident* that happened i really enjoyed myself and was good to see you guys and meet some of you guys that i hadn't before! Each time i go through the tunnel i think i always leave marks on the seats! MAN i love the sound of our lines in there!!! Well for those that missed the highlight of my night. A guy in an MX6 was nice enough to leave a thank you for the cruise card in the form of a nice large dent to my front rear bumper and also smashed the light! This could not have been a worse time due to my REALLY bad day! One thing i had to remember though is that it was an accident an accidents do happen. The guy was really cool about it and his folks came around yesterday to check it out. Got quote for repair at $550 all up! Thanks for all the nice comments and concerns guys and thanks for all the help when it happened! Thanks PVA and Adam 32 for helping with the cruise! it was probably the best one i have been to so far! P.s. any pics of the damage of my car would be nice for a laugh!:lol:

Heya Guys, Me and my mechanic have been mucking around a bit with timing and throttle control coz in the morning i have to put my foot down on the accelerator for about 5 secs until it comes back to the correct idling. The revs first thing in the morning are really low so much so that it just about conks out on a start in the cold morning. We put my timing up and now the idling is revving at 750. Any of you guys able to tell me what your idling is revving at?:confused:

AHAHAH GOOD CALL!! How FUnny!!! OK new rule for the cruise everyone must also bring a rotten egg incase they see a WRX of this calibur to throw at it!!! HAHAAHAH!!! I can wait to see it! I need sumfin to cheer me up!:lol:

Well PVa just looked through nearly 900 of your posts on SDU (Man you can dribble ****! :lol: :shake: ) and still no luck! details of that nice cruise must have been deleted from events. OK i will start the new thread and if you manage to find them or can think of it just post it below. If worse comes to worse we can hand it out on the night. Cool?

YES Just waiting to find map that PVA made a while ago that we can use Omni -> Northbridge -> Innaloo ->Scarborough -> Burswood ->Fremantle Think thats how it went. As soon as we get map we can start Nice new thread so everyone can clearly read it and no EXACTLY whats going on, would be nice to have a poll aswell so we know numbers! Any of you guys have that map handy?

I am in favour of that one to! it did have some quiet streets and some nice scenery i guess if we can all follow the rules where they mostly need be, we should be ok. Anybody else with any other ideas or do we all like this one? if some of you guys do want a few quiet roads we can change the map a bit more if need be to go a few backstreets.... PVA or anybody do you guys still have this map? the one where we stopped at Burswood and Freo? oh and when we stopped at Scabs and the V8 guys droolled over our cars so much that they wanted to follow us :lol:

Good idea, I am hoping to have a nice cruise with a few long back streets so who ever wants their car to "stretch it's legs" they are more than welcome to but by all means NOT compulsary. sounds like GEETAH is in for a bit of leg stretching..... so obviously when it comes to things like rain it definately won't be a good idea and will have to reschedule as Adam 32 said. But for now it looks like a nice turnout with still a week to go for more people to organise themselves and come along! I suppose through out the week we will geta more fairer idea of what the whether is like hopefully will be a nice night. OK so any opinions on cruise? thanks to PVA's previous cruises we can redo some of them.... Perth - Scarborough - Burswood-Fremantle (nice scenery and looks amazing seeing all our cars together cruising on the main streets! but risk of operation canary :lol:) Perth - Armadale - Welshpool (Lots of legs stretching and some back streets for some good video footage, as mentioned leg stretching is NOT compulsary! just for those who wanna see how their cars handle......) OK I WILL DO THE HONOURS SEEING THAT NO ONE ELSE HAS sAID ANYTHING: FRIDAY 6th Spetember Meet at 9pm at Old Omni Theatre (City West Undergorund carpark) Depart at 9:15. MAP STILL TO BE DECIDED. Seems city west to welshpool route has had a couple of votes... however input is appreciated :uh-huh: From what i understand most of the people such as myself that can't make it on Saturday night have legitmate reasons however the people who have said they want Saturday night have not said why they can't on a Friday this is why i have based it on a Friday night. I could be wrong as you might have personal reasons however from what i have read Friday night could be easier..... How does that all sound????

When was that??? The couple that i have been on the cops will cruise over and do what cops do "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?" then the main guys tell them that maps have been given and cleared with blah blah dept and was accepted then they drive off...... do you think they would do the same if we were in a big group rocking up at once?? Please understand guys I am not saying we should or shouldn't tell the cops it is up to you guys I am only putting pros and cons for both sides of the fence. I just don't want a group such as this being on channel 7 next... "last night at City West a group of car enthusiasts ended up being arrested for not comlpying with police presence to leave the area when requested, 20 offences have been listed and certain members of this renegade car club are now due in court in 1 month" I can see the headlines now! :lol: Hmmmm actually that has PVA GLUE Written all over it!
