Get a custom manifold with an N1 turbo running 20psi. I know for sure your grass wont grow back. Dont forget to stick a gtr badge at the front. To answer your question... I think your mower is rooted. =)

No offence mate, sometimes a salesman or a mechanic, WITHOUT looking at the problem, think they have a fair idea about whats wrong. In which in this case I was confidently told that it could be the oil pump. And hence, I have posted what could be the problem and so far I have recieve excellent feedback to question. There is your customer diagnosis. More over I wanted to direct the question in a way so that the community can visualise the problem without having to ask more questions about where the problem lies. Some may call it logical progression. BTW. thats pretty funny story about the barina. -Arbess

Jen, Is that a boys or a girls name? Looks like you purchased a R32 GTS-T Type-M. I had one of these before. Good that you will be doing the 100K service, timing belt, air con belt, pwr steering belt, all the belts, of course if they fit in your budget. I'm not sure if these are covered in your compliance but I would also suggest, all the filters to, ie. fuel and air. Might need to replace your spark plugs. If you dont like to keep replacing the spark plugs, buy the iridium ones, ~$25 each. Change you oil and oil filter. Check all your fluids are good coloured, replace as required, ie. brake, pwr steering, clutch. Radiator got some green radiator coolant. Check your hicas fluid, not sure where this is on a GTS-T, could be the same with GTR's, inside rear right quarter panel. Run some nice injector cleaners, I think optimax or ultimate might do the job. Service your gearbox oil, rear differentials (Maybe in compliance) Get it tuned. These are just some things I came across when I was fixing my GTS-T. I suggest to hang off the rice'ing up for now as you will need the money to repair. These cars are never never perfect (except when new =)). A sleeper that breaks down aint gonna be much of a sleeper, sleeping in your garage is the best it would do. As for the R33 Turbo upgrade, I don't think you need to replace the ECU, possibly a tune. Fellow tuner may shed some light here. I hope theres a start for you -Arbess

Nothing wrong with any culture in australia. I only have a problem with you if you start bringing your culture and religion to my home. (especially those door knockers). I live in the southside of town where there are a deep vaiety of nationalities and there is no problems. I never get hassled by ethinic colour ppl, heaps of them are so friendly anyways. i even got to sit in UAE's 350Z, and im asian. So this stuff in sydney is just a war between those who live their religion and those who live by alcohol, both a belief in ones eyes. Never will it happen up here because brisbane is too busy to care. Just I suppose you should watch your back incase you try one of these acts. my 2 cents -Arbess

I am only concerned that mt oil pump is stuffed because the reading on the instrument cluster seems to be lower than most other GTR's. Could it be that my instument is stuffed? -Arbess

Hello, Just wondering who has changed their oil pump before on their 32gtr? I think mine is starting to wear down. How hard is it to change an oil pump? -Arbess

Fellow turbo community, I know this has been raised in the other forum sub sections. I just wanted to start a Queensland idea, thought, information topic. E10 fuel. Shell has just recently release this ethanol blended fuel into some of our Shell stations in Brisbane. Some have been saying it is good, some say its bad and it would run bad in our pre 2004 model nissans. Click here to see where I sourced the info I own a Gtr. I am really concerned about what I put into my car and how it will operate. Will my turbo's survive, will my piston rings fry, will my timing get ruined? These are just somethings that cause concern, I'm sure there are you's who think alike. Can people post their comments and educated information here to enlighten those who are considering a change in fuel. Thank you -Arbess

R32 Gtr Dash And Rear Light Fuse Keeps Blowing
arbess replied to paulR32gtr's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Maybe replace the incorrect fuses with the correct ones. I know this is a sh*t job but you may need to look at the connections for the alarm system. Maybe they left a wire naked and its touching the frame of the car, or something else. Look for dodgy wiring, close up lose ends. Pretty much do an inspection of your car. Some places may be... near ECU, where your headunit is, near battery, anywhere where someone can play with and stuff up. If those fuses that are incorrect, I would change them IMMEDIATELY. They will blow the component that its linked too. Thanks mate. -Arbess -
89 gtr I have hks air filters, 3" exhaust iridium sparkies, good tyres. I havnt dyno'd it but it beats 190kw atw R33's on highway. hope that gives you an idea. -Arbess

Damn you lucky ppl with small widths. Cheap good tyres. I have Dunlop Formulas (FM9Y?) 245/45/r17, all fours, r32gtr. Very sticky, I would go back to these though very exp. Be aware this is on a GTR Dry 9/10 Wet 7.5/10 Value for money 5/10 Okay tyre though very exp. -
BBQ. You got some good ideas from the community here, I would personally take it further and sort some legal avenues. Its prolly a small fine you got, but man if it puts the dick head behind a table pushing pens, that protects the whole car enthused community from assholes like him. Excuse my language kiddies. Of course the police officers friends might not like you. But hey, dick heads tend to associate in clusters. Dont take this as all of them, there are some very level headed officers out there who know the difference between a stock intercooler on a GTR and an aftermarket cooler on a gtst. Write down on paper all that was said, date and sign it. If you have a witness get them to sign it too. Well there is my second 2 cents. -Arbess
