Excuse me, but are the noise testers on the list of 'approved noise testers' the only places we can go to get the zorsts tested? Farking, thats a pretty good business...... get your copper mates to report as many imports as u can in say Box Hill and then they all have no choice but to pay 37 bucks to get them tested whether they are stuffed or not.

Yeah, better off getting the alarm installer to install it whilst he is doing the alarm install. .... if u have already got an alarm installed, u might need to get someone to check if u can still put a turbo timer on - some alarms dont allow to use a turbo timer.

I will tell the dudes then. I was once a dumb turd too. Yeah they are different, the series 1 turbos have ceramic turbines and the series 2 have plastic turbines. Means that the series 2 turbos are able to spool up a little faster, but they are weaker cos they are plastic. If thats all u need to know, then there u go, but if not, the USE THE SEARCH

Hey redline Thanks also for the linx. In Japan, they call the current model the EVC or, the EVC IV. Outside of Japan, they call this exact same item the EVC V. The linx is the instructions for the older model of EVC GTR-Ben - PM me if you get a hold of a copy. I will PM likewise.

Thanks meshmesh. read it and it is the one for EVC III and there is also another one for EVC IV too. BUt I am looking for the one for operation instructions for EVC V. That one has a different display unit and different operation.

I think the EVC doesnt use a solenoid? It uses a stepper motor? I dunno the difference, but they are different right? Is it the only one that uses this method to control boost?

is the EVC the least supported EBC here or what?
