the rims are off a gts-t. they would fit a gtr as well but may look wierd as they are 16x7 and standard gtr rims are 16x9 i think. i'm in east melbourne.

i just did this job last weekend. For the outside felt pads, i removed the felt and replaced it with boat carpet that i purchased from clark rubber. Its a bit thicker than the old stuff but it holds the window in place a little tighter. I left the inner ones alone as they were still ok, just adjusted them in so that the window wouldnt shake when it is wound down. the only time you'll get scrathes is if grit has fallen down onto the pads.

same wheels as me. i was worried about mine too when i first intalled them. i have had a couple of cops look over my car for defects and they have never said anything about my wheels.

room is also an issue. the canasters that are capable of a 200-400kw flow are quite large so placement gets tricky.

drifting is possible you just have to have your set up right. cars that i have found the best are sileighty, 4 door blitz r34, and supra. having traction control and stability control on setting 1, sticky tyres, and using nos to loose rear traction are things that make the car better to drift. using the handbrake is difficult as it is hard to keep the revs up.

i've got 18x9.5 on the back of my r32 gtst with 255 rubber. had to roll the guards but it was well worth it.

i live at the base of Mount Buller. Great road for skylines. someone should organise a cruise to the summit.
