i mean in a 32 gtr. I'm pretty sure the time quoted for skaife is during the race, but one of the gtr's i think was in the 12's in qualifying. Edit...it was Dick Johnson in the sierra that did a 2:12.898. that's flying. Still...why can't anyone get their 32's to do 2:14's? (yes i know berry has done a 2:13 in the r34, but that's with modifications outside the rules of 1992....aero, suspension etc).

off topic.......but this clip made me go looking for clips of the gibson 32 gtr. why can't anyone do a 2.12 at bathurst 20yrs on? and even more off topic.....how hard is it to find an old 32 group A car from japan?

I have the same problem with my sard in tank pump in my 33. Was 'profressionally' installed so thought it would work just fine. My car will actually empty the tank (or close to) if I continue to drive the car. However, if I try to start the car when it has 1/4 of a tank or less, it won't start.

what's the limit of the hks dumps? i have hks dumps into unknown front pipes (2x70mm from memory) into a 3.5" all the way through (no cat). surely that's good for 400rwkw?

At what power do you HAVE TO upgrade the pump? 350rwkw, 400rwkw? At what stage will one of these upgraded pumps empty the STD sump? Asked another way... Will a well balanced 400rwkw (ati balanced etc) motor cope with hard track work with a STD pump for a long period of time (years)? And secondly....will an upgraded pump empty the std sump on the track of a 400rwkw motor?

if as much time went into peoples jobs as what has gone into some of the posts on this thread, this mx5 would have been fixed and then some. moral of the story....don't track what you can't afford to lose. as for the donations, i appreciate that this is an unfortunate outcome for both car owners, but there are people in qld and vic that have lost far more than an mx5 due to the recent floods. where are the bbq's for those guys? let's get a little perspective.

Yes, don't know how TK80 made it into the car field. My car is a 33 gtr. I'm still running on re55's that I bought in 2008...so I'm very happy with a 1.064. Couldn't get the first corner right all day, so hopefully next time I work it out and with some new tyres i should easily get me into the 1.05's. Thanks to the organisers...was a great day.
