  1. open to offers on the intercooler....no idea what it's worth.
  2. suspension sold pending payment. Intercooler still up for grabs.
  3. Hi guys Intercooler: HKS Type R 600mm x 300.5mm x 103mm. Damaged core from small front impact which pushed it back into the aircon fan so small punctures on front and back side. End tanks in perfect/undamaged order. Unsure if core can be replaced/repaired (i just bought a new one to save time and thought i would sort this one out as a spare......but now can't be bothered). Price: $400ono ($2k new) Suspension: Bilstein suspension (height adjustable) with king springs. I'm fishing around for the receipt so i can post all part numbers. Spring rates are slightly firmer than standard so for those looking for a similar ride to standard but with some increased performance in the cornering. Fronts 182 lbs and Rears progressive spring rate 150 - 225 lbs. Reason for selling - bought bilstein pss9's. Only thing i would recommend to anyone interested would be to get some extra grooves in the rear suspension so you can lower another 20mm or so. The fronts have enough grooves as it is....see photo below of car stance. The suspension was taken out and dyno tested by Heasmans with the dyno results pictured below. Price: $800ono ($2k new) pick up only - sydney pm me if you want more pics or details.
  4. What are imports selling for? Anyone know how many came in and were registered? Guessing slighty cheaper....who needs the warranty anyway if you're going to be hammering it at the track anyway.
  5. 78k and change it sold for and is heading to a smash/salvage joint in dandenong. be careful...sounds like this one will be back on the market early in the new year.
  6. 1hr 20mins to go....anyone out there to let us know what it goes for?
  7. get the angles right on camera and you could look as nuts as the boys off jackass...taking a chainsaw to the roof when you're done hacking it off, whack an awesome cage in it (easy access), and then do a full carbon fibre roof. job done. edit - previous owner says it's bent like a banana....dream over.
  8. Anyone going to have a crack at this? Who's going to have a guess on price... Probably worth 60k but some knuckle head will pay overs, put a cheap roof on it an try to flog it like a straight car.

    R35 Panels

Hey guys Anyone know where to source replacements panels, either out of the US or japan? Am trying to find a front left quarter. Cheers
  10. mine pbox arrived today off ebay....cost about $550 delivered from the states first outing for it will be at the nscc track day this saturday.
  11. Guys trying to find where to buy a pfi fuel rail for a 33 gtr....to run some id2000 injectors. i see a lot of people run the pfi rail.......but can't see where to buy from???
  12. set of second hand s7 slicks coming (that's all they had). will let you know the results vs some second hand re55's. if they're any good, i might spring for a new set up against a new set of re55's.
  13. Guys Trying to find out what events (track days + tarmac rallies) are scheduled for the first few months of 2011. Am trying to find an event to let my old man have a steer of the car before he's too old to brake the speed limit. Cheers
  14. just track days really. i'll keep a set of re55's in the shed for the odd dutton rally etc. i'll never be really competitive with my current setup, so no point buying the fastest shortest life tyres to try and get there
  15. there's no doubt i'm more limited by my own ability than that of the car or the tyres. As i start to bridge that gap, i'm sure the tyre life will decrease rapidly as well. but for the good of my kids college fund, i want to be able to get more life out of a slick....just need to find the one.
  16. s2 i think they're called the medium....not the supersprint soft ones.
  17. car is a 33 gtr adjustable bilstein c/o's with ikeya arms....running around 4 degrees camber in the front, rears are fairly neutral. would be doing 10 laps each outing....4 or 5 times a track day. if i had to be honest...probably half of those laps are at more than 85% pace. so the tyres are probably lasting 80-100 laps at pace on avg. tracks are mainly wakefield and eastern creek.
  18. Guys Trying to get some extra life out of my tyres. Currently running re55's which are lasting 3-4 track days before they're dead. Just priced up michelin slicks at $660/tyre (27/65/18) which is comparable to the re55 (265/35/18). The salesmen said it would be like christmas when i first strapped on the slicks, shedding plenty of time off my laps times. However, life of the tyre is apparently similar to the re55. What are the alternatives? Don't really want to go slower than an re55, so is there a harder compound slick that will last 6 or 7 track days? cheers
  19. aussie dollar almost touching US$1 now....time to buy a performance box from the US for $500.
  20. only problem is that their bell range is slightly different.....different models and different sizing. UK bell is what they sell here in revolution racegear etc.
  21. good to hear. Just ordered a bell from demon tweeks last night. they're doing pretty good prices at the moment on the sa2005 helmets as the sa2010 are going to start hitting the shelves in the next few weeks. also, if you phone them they do better prices than online (just don't stay on the phone too long cause you'll blow up your phone bill).
  22. I know it's probably on here somewhere...but I'm lazy. Will an imported bell/arai or another brand that is sa2005 or sa2010 approved be accepted in cams events and more generally at track days? Wsid claimed they needed an Australia standard helmet.....is that true? Cheers
  23. status please....how many are you up to?
  24. any more footage from the radcam? the footage from the mini's on youtube looks pretty good? group buy looks to be going pretty slow for these things........what's the story? people holding out until xmas?
