When I bought my r33s2 it had 30,000 ks up and was roughly 10ks to the litre at about the 40,000k mark that dropped to 7.5 ks to the litre and lots a black soot all over ass end, alot happened around that time (upgrades and a fly through air thump on ground thingy) but subsequent investigations by mechs said the car/fuel use was OK! After reading all this thread i decided to try it out. I just bought O2 sensor from autobahn Part #OX207 for falcon EL $80.00 my wiring was Nissan ------>Ford Black ------->Black Black ------->Black White ------>Blue Crimped wires together shielded them seems to run OK Will let you know if any improvement.
  2. I just went to http://www.onlineconversion.com/power.htm to convert Hp to Kw but there are 4 different types of Hp and was wondering which I should use. 1 international 2 metric 3 water (prob not) 4 electric (prob not) Thanx to anyone who can help:cheers:
  3. when i had my microtech fitted in mid winter the dyno readout was 250hp up 40hp.( 183.87kw) yet mid summer read out was only 195hp.(144kw) so my next mod will be a FMIC

  7. Thought I'd say hello to everyone bin here a while and commented on few things allready (probably just drivel to yooz) looking to meet some skyline owners and shoot the wind cruiz and such My ride is r33 with a few mods but daily driver
  8. parked next to mine outside bottlo near KFC at logan hyperdome thought i was seeing double execpt the zorst told you to come this site. say gidday here or PM me stock standard r33 said it was mspec nice clean car

I had a yamaha rd250 lc but replaced the pots with 350cc so cops couldnt tell the diff that was a real sceamer top speed well over 250ks speedo broke at that speed but i had the numb thumb with as well. most two strokes ive owned gave me the numb thumb but only long distance if you want a good 250cc machine, go the two stroke cause 4 strokers suck at that capacity

  11. $5760 at todays exchange rate makes them $576 each plus silicon and clips if anyones interested i would be willing to buy them and distribute but only if I can find 9 people with good ratings and be definite about buying.

  16. Well let me tell you about my r33s2 . I bought it through a friend from japan along wtih 7 others that he bought and being the exicitable puppy i was i was keen to see it as soon as it landed beautiful on the outside but underneath car/bonnet filthy as all f*** so he had it degresed and thats when my problems started (I think) If it rained or i washed the car the hicas would cut out (red light on dash) power steer zero. so i went around the whole elec system and sprayed it with lanosol (didnt undo any plugs as i was told that would makes matters worse) that fixed that problem! Next was the front parking lights kept blowing (and what little hands u must have to change them f***ers) so trace the elec system for those undid all connectors light rub with emery reconnect, lanosol. Havent blown since Fingers crossed. Next was the idle lots of reasons but thought WTF i'll get microtech installed should get rid of all bugs, more horses (40-50) but no, idle probs still there after many attempts by 3 different dynos. And just now i went to 3LIT3 FORS3 or daniel to pick DVD manual for r33-2 and he asked me why i was running two blow off valves. Well ive felt dumb in my days but this was one of those really dumb ones as i thought iwas only running one (after market atmos type) (the other is standard factory on pipe to inlet plenum recirc to front of turbo) so theres my idle problem. Anybody want a BOV on pipe from intercooler to plenum to swap with stainless pipe to replace this unneccessary and annoying piece of technogy. But in summing up it seems that all the people here have had problems with 1 dirty parts 2 electrical connections 3 BOVs So check them all and get someone who really knows what hes looking at to help.

  19. I heard about a new gadget called a chila it supposedly works on the same principal as the old kero refrigerators IE heat from kero flame used to cool refrigerator, But the chilla uses the heat from turbo to cool pre intercooler. It may all be bull but it seems like a good idea to me.
  20. I have them same problem with my R33. What is a tps switch ? did you install yourself?
