I recently crashed my 33 and was wondering what happens with insurance if its a write off....ok what i was wondering was whether or not i get first shot at buying it back from insurance if it is a write off...or does it have to go to auction where i will then get a chance to buy it back...any help will be appreciated....oh i am with justcars insurance....

we just installed r32 gtr rear seats into a cefiro...i assume they'd fit the 4dr also much more bucketier...lol....however no middle seatbelt gap..there will probably be a small gap coz the coupe gets a bit narrower through the back...

could be coils or plugs..sounds like something electrical....afm also...or een crank angle sensor....try the chea stuff first or take it to a workshop if your lazy....or if u do stuff your self find someone with same car and swap coils over and see if it still does....if still does it tr afm....and the crank angle sensor u will probably need a shop to do anyway...

some exhausts have them they are just a restrictor that is screwed in to the cannon bit gay but muffles exhaust noise if your car is loud on the daily comute..

ok guys question...on top of my radiator shrouad it says timing belt 180,000kms does that indicate when it was changed or when it needs to be changed....as my speedo only says 96XXX kms??

Hey guys noticed there isnt much chat about drift on this site....but what i wanna no is who out that actively participates in drift...now i myself am a bit of a drift nut...i'm not the best around but i know a bit about the etc etc and yeah...for qld members there is www.secretdrift.com ...mods feel free to remove this if you want but i want more skyline drifters...so far i only know 2 who compete legally... post up guys...

Anyone interested in an r33 half cut....i am after one and want headlights bonnets front bar radiator support and radiator....was thinkin about goin halves with someone.... Next..how hard is it to pack extra shims into the viscous lsd so it locks up better....aNd also is it dangerous to overfill the diff with oil...i have been told if you overfill it a litte by tilting car (on jack) you can fill it up more and therefore more pressure in diff so that it locks up better....however i had some concerns and they are to much pressure on diff will it blow any seals? and secondly with to much friction and heat it could warp the internals?? Can anyone confirm thisf for me??? Thanks in advance zaffa

DID SOMEONE SAY SMALL CLAIMS TRIBUNAL>>>NO????THEN WHY THIS WEED NEEDS TO BE DEALT WITH....i wasnt even involved with this member at all but am disgusted to read whats happened...maybe members are to trusting but IMO there are a lot of walbro pumps that get moved so one would asume it was just another walbro at good price...Seriously if this guy was found to be trading without a business number etc take him to small claims tribunal...i hardly think you could take him to consumer affiars as he is operating illegally and therefore has no business anyway...but if yo add up all the people who were scammed by this fraudster which i imagine would be at least 10-15 if not more throughout different forums....thats 10-15 claims against him which means big trouble for him and a chance of recovering the money you lost...if not organise to buy something else off him meet up with him and belt the crap outta him...1st option is gonna hurt him a lot more in the long run though...

nah i meant its cool i wont be doin any mods for a while.... i have full comp insurance which is lucky and no i wasnt really pushing hard at all lightly greasy road....lost traction in 2nd spun into another car and hit front end into dirt embankment....was doin about 60 but no one was injured...which is most important....oh and i had just picked up the car... guess i learnt the hard way...

just go speak to chris at wasp or mark from bansai james they are cheap and also on the coast....

cefi;s are basically taxi on silvia floorpan...they can look very good with the right mods and body kits but in stock form the skyline would be better.....the body of the skyline is also more rigid......both need suspension upgrades regardless.....however u will find with most cefi;s or laurels if your interested that they are autos...not an expensive conversion to say the least but depends how much your willing to spend.....

hmm sound slike you need a smaller turbo that is more tractible and responsive.....or an sr20 in the 32 uber sexy...

OIL cOOLER!!!UBER IMPORTANT bouncing a car on rev limiter heats it up substtantially put on the heater full blasy and constantly check oil and water levels to make sure all topped up no leeks........um they are important JUST use stockies on the backes especially whn your learning as you'll have no money to pay for the extra control low pro's give you unless your rich thne spend away......weld your diff if you like but its illegal and not as good as a proper drift item ie kaaz nismo list goes on.....more spare tyres.....basic tools....spare oil and water......more oil...hose clamps for intercoolers if applicable.....could blow a hose.....and overall when drifitng keep an eye on your guages especially pressure in oil and temp guages.....if either if looks like goin skyward STOP i think thats enough for now.....oh i dunno if you have them already but suspension really helps like tein hieght adjustable coilovers are uber nice... have fun
