  1. I have 2 sets if you want to shoot up glenfern rd to upwey
  2. We have no gas fitters?
  3. Do we have any gas fitters/service people in melbourne's east (Upwey)? I need my gas heater fixed so it's safe to use, it has 1 broken glass panel, and 2 broken ceramic elements.
  4. Volunteer for an SAU track day, you'll generally be assigned an experienced flaggie on a flag point who will show you the flag. The CAMS manual and the vic motorsport thread (in events) has the flag meanings as well.
  5. lol, when it's clearly not a public road
  6. That'd be Jesse's (jesiotrot), he works for martini in some way, gunmetal grey yeah? Mine has no stickers at the moment either, looks too crap to put them on. Mine is silver (where the paint still is).
  7. Yes, yes you were. My er... pimped out 626 wagon? *cough* Couldn't see you through your tint, but thought they were your wheels
  8. Spotted a black 32, SAU car - UIE710 or something like it turning onto Burwood highway this morning. Rekin?
  9. +1 for prices, so people know how much cash to bring
  10. I got bored in Blend and quickly whipped up a screen
  11. It's not really different to java requiring the JRE or flash requiring the flash player, just not everyone will have the silverlight player yet. I'd say it ships with IE 8 though
  12. Well I'd rather make it as a WPF app, but I don't think that's what Paul was after
  13. Actually I'm happy to have a crack in silverlight, but it's not exactly a prolific technology yet
  14. Do it in SilverLight!
  15. There's one of those outside a tire place on burwood highway everyday, even looks like a cactus
  16. Yes, they each have their own equipment in the exchange. I wanted to continue with optus, but they were all full up.
  17. hmm, may have to look into that. It all just worked on cable. is there an adsl setting for "Do not dropout and require a modem reboot"?
  18. Also being about 4km from the exchange seems to make VOIP useless as well.
  19. Well sell it faster
  20. Yeah that's what I get, I miss cable Bring on fibre to the house
  21. We get threads reasonably frequently looking for tradies within the SAU community, and we already have a workshop sticky, so how about a sticky that lists contacts by trade, area etc. in the first post and provides a place for people that are looking for tradies to post what they're looking for? I'd suggest that sau member tradies could also post there to "advertise", but not sure how that would go with the forum rules.
  22. I just connected (as in 30 min ago, yay internets) to TPG naked dsl. I went with them based on price/MB on a naked plan. I wanted to stick with Optus cable, which I had been with for 8 years, because I was happy with the pricing and speed, but it's not available in my area. Given my proximity to the exchange I think cable would be a faster option, but alas not to be. So far my experience with TPG support suggest at least part is based in canada.
  23. Happy bday Lauz, hope it's a good one
  24. I found that sometimes they do need to see the car even if it's registered. My WA registered silvia had to be seen. I was told it was so they could verify the compliance plate.
  25. lol we software guys always say it's a hardware problem I only have an atmel programmer unfortunately
