Dammit, that really sucks! I was hoping with 700+ cars they could at least fit that in jeez!!!!!! That seems ridiculous, no doubt they'll have all sorts of useless crap cars and can't even have a 33 gtst...grr. Is there a list of the cars they have somewhere? GT2 is the only game that has a R33 GTSt as far as I can tell and it's starting to look, very very bad graphics-wise. WTF?! why a 32, every gtr variant known to man and no gtst....
-
That looks sweet!!!! I want to have carnal relations with your vehicle...
-
I really wanted to make this one and meet all you guys but I have a prior engagement that I can't get out of :'(

I think people get mixed up because there was the Driving Force (released with GT3) and now the Driving Force Pro. So while there is no Driving Force Pro II, the DVP is kind of Driving Force II. On another note, I heard that players with a GT3 save are going to be able to transfer up to 100,000 credits at the start of the game. So what are you gonna buy with your 100k? I think I'll stick with a sonic silver 1996 Skyline GTS25t Type-M Want to see if it feels like the real thing with the new wheel.... I think 100k is too much personally, you could make up a pretty unbeatable car at the start of the game with that.
-
OK revised opinion: I tried the wheel with GT4 prologue and it rocks!! MUCH more intuitive than with GT3, the 900 degree rotation is awesome, as is the way the wheel fights you as you slip into a drift, feels fantastic, I think anyone who tries this wheel with GT4 is gonna love it. Now I just need to figure out a decent setup for it...
-
I only realised how pathetic I must be when I realised I've played pretty much every game mentioned in this thread....
-
I'm such a hypocrite - about 2 hours after making the above post I went and shelled out $300 for the wheel... Anyway I was trying it with GT3, goddamn it's like much much harder than using the controller???!? Granted I don't yet have a good situation set up for using the wheel/pedals...but I really really hope this is just a matter of getting used to the steering sensitivity etc because otherwise this sucks lol...I can't even win basic races with the wheel at the moment and with the regular controller I can win the toughest races in the game!
-
Yeah I went into EB the other day they had like three different wheel deals with GT4, one was the $300 one, can't remember second and the cheapest was a $100 wheel plus GT4 for $150 all up. One looked tempting cos it was a multiformat (xbox & ps2) wheel and I just can't see springing $300 right now no matter how much I want a wheel...GT4 will rock wheel or not and I got stuff to do on the (real) car... Hey with those wheels, what is it like to use on lap? Impossible? Impractical? If I got one I couldn't see myself making an elaborate setup for it or sitting at the dining table to play GT4

Hey I got Initial D series one (4 dvds, like 29 episodes) from China for like $30, same for series 2 and Initial D the movie. They are much better than the ones here in australia as the packaging is heaps better and anyway for the price of 3 episodes ($30ish) you get 29...and then I think 18 or something in the second series. Also, I have Initial D game for PS2 which is a direct port of the arcade version - exactly the same. cost me like $100 to import it from japan (have to have mod chip) the game is all in japanese but the driving is driving so who cares... Initial D: Project D (third series) came out in Japan about last march I believe.

no offence dude, but if you bought that only a week ago and you're selling it already...you're nuts...does look small though
-
Damn I'd love to but my cousin's 30th birthday party is that night...if I can get away early I'm there
-
Can a humble 33 owner tag along? I'd love to see all these sweet 34s
-
Well, I think the clear message here is....don't drink and drive! Yorik you have the most mesmerising signature....I've been sitting here with this message half-typed for 20 minutes.........must.....escape................sig.................

Yeah I had same prob in my last car with a mcdonalds drink....it's those stupid lids, if it tips over for any reason (esp. if it hits the floor) it's everywhere. Now I only take ones with screw on caps.
-
not sure what kind of exhaust mine has on it (3" anyway) but I can barely hear the stereo unless it's almost shattering my eardrums (4x 250watt/4-way) so that's something to keep in mind
-
I think not, next step is paying my phone and power bills that I been putting off by pouring bucks into the "get skyline" fund
-
I would think most carpet cleaners would be pretty good...the key is making sure whatever you used doesn't make the carpet too wet...or pool underneath the carpet
-
Hey ModR33s2, welcome...I'm new here myself and also looking forward to meeting some of the ppl here...see you out and about sometime PS love the colour of your ride : P

saw a very nice midnight purple pearl (love that colour) R33 GT-R blasting down Ann street yesterday about 1715, rego GTR 83. Walking along I heard a roar behind me, thinking that's gotta be a skyline...yup. Also saw a white R33 Series 2 (S2 spoiler anyway, all I could see from my balcony) zipping down Lang Parade in auchenflower last night about 2230. Thought about firing up mine and giving chase to have a better look but I never would have got there in time.

Anyone know who grabbed that $16.5k R34 GTS coupe on ebay last week?
-
Saw a black 32 (couldn't get plate) drive past on lang parade in milton yesterday and a r31 coupe, red, looked very clean and shiny go past the shops centre in milton, baroona road I think it is, this morning about 6:45

Hello, my name is Silver and I'm a skylineaholic....
-
Congrats mate, I just got mine last sat! Yours looks like a clean, stock machine...perfect base
-
Thanks, I love the look of the car all over actually. It's just standard SII bodykit but those rearpods and lowering really accentuate it huh? I'm sure you'll all see me out and about at some point...I find myself driving to do things I don't really need to do, going the long way, and even driving to stores I'm pretty sure are closed on sundays lol...can't get enough.
