Just curious as to what everyone's opinion is. Do you have an alarm are you getting one, dont think you need one? Whats the deal :headspin:

  10. I recon it is Max Grifith's by the sound of it, its not running NOS though and its putting out 500bhp.
  11. Where abouts you find the wiring diagram for the install and do you have a diagram for the amp bypass at all?
  12. Just curious as to what everyone is running component wise in there ride and where abouts have they installed everything???
  13. Yep what R33TypeMS2Wooshka said, i think if there were a couple of sub headings that catered for different parts of the audio conversion's that people are doing today it would help everyone out
  14. Just have to read the user name champ :innocent: The only down side to shift work is the hours that you work compared to everyone else. At times it can really drive you crazy :uh-huh:
  15. Anyone have a wiring diagram for the stock nissan harness at all or did you all just trial and error for the install. And the other thing is an amp bypas hard to do or would it be worthe just ripping that sucker straight outer of there instead???
  16. What i'm after is an elxploded diagram or a set of build instructions for making a tube if you know where i could get my hands on a set?
  17. Kerry will look after you at JDS and they can get there hands on a lot, the problem with carmate is that you pay that extra bit for shipping and they do the dogyiest ppackaging job i have ever seen. Hence dings, dents and marks in your new FB and you have to pay for it to get fix as they freight company have nothing to do with it!!!
  18. Nice shameless little plug there
  19. You wouldn't believe me if i told you
  20. Not having a go at you Badhabit as i know you work in this industry but im sick of people telling me to adhere to the specs if i want to buld a ported/sealed box. I want to build a TUBE not a box as its lighter, not as big and easier for placement and removing in and out of the boot. Thanks for the reply and dont take my post the wrong way at all as im not having a go, just venting some steam after getting home from work.
  21. No prob's with getting cables through the fire wall, im used to doing the impossible, apprentice sparky by trade :headspin: As for not getting anything bigger than 6" in the fronts isn't exactly right as we got a pair of 6X9's in my mates R32 no probs, but yes it did take modification of the existing speaker holes, nothing to drastic though.
  22. EEERRRR in correct, would you like to phone a friend. I dont want to build a ported or sealed box as i have done that in the past. Specs on the sub dont come into the way i build the "TUBE" not box as i know its got to be 2 feet per sub and obviously the correct diametre for the woofer to fit with the MBF ring cut inside the PVC pipe. What i wanted to know was has anyone built them in the past and if they could give me a step by step kinda guide for that and the process that they used. As for adhearing to the specs that the manufacture give you i think if you ask anyone that knows what there doing when it comes to subs that there not worthe much as every woofer is different and every install the driver is going to be used differently!!!!
  23. Ok so im planning my new install on my R32 GTS-t and just wanted the heads up on any trouble that anyone may of experincied in the past so i can plan ahead. Im planning on running a Pioneer 5750 HU with Pioneer components in the front doors replacing the stock speakers. I have another set of splits that im going to put into the rear parcell shelf. I have 2 MTX Thunders that i was thinking of using, can't decide if i want to run both in one box, 1 in a sealed box, 1 in a tube or two in the existing sub box, 2 in 1 tube or 2 in seprate tubes??? I plan on installing my new amp and hear that you either have to bypass the old amp or run new speaker cables, whatever is easiest i will do, but as im thinking of running the front splits of the head unit i dont see that as being a problem at all. Anyway just after anyones advice on the general install, how to and where to install and what you used for it in general? Cheers GMB
  24. Just wondering if anyone could help me out on specs and a bit of a "How To" build a tube for a 10inch MTX thunder sub? I know that you use PVC piping but just asking if anyone builds/has built one to kinda give a run down on the procedure. Cheers GMB
