SO its almost the end of the year, alot has happened and what better way to wind down ready for the holidays than catch up with all the fellow hoons and have a cruise Im thinking similar as last time with stopping for lunch/pictures/"play time" (all legal of course ) Im thinking early December if that suits everyone so post up if your keen and we can get the ball rolling. The V-spec GTR is 33 but there is also a 32 GTR getting around with the JIGSAW Racing sticker. Rickard's was running a single set up or has he changed again??? I doubt he would take it to a local servo anyhow unless it was to get a wheel alignment or something along those lines. Hopefully Benno can post up about the wheels and ruling for TT08... Im still trying to picture 18" brakes and the wheels you would need to clear them

i wasn't going to say anything about the brakes or the fact that the suspension set up would be illegal as well (unless its just the TEIN set up) Either way a built GTR is always nice to see on the road, sounds like there not taking any chances with a new motor/box 32 GTR price $12000 - $200 000+ Its not the JIGSAW racing 32 is it Skip???

Pulled the 186 down in the FC on saturday, it now has a new head gasket, new inlet manifold gasket, rocker gasket, lifters and cam adjusted, full engine/heater flush in both directions. End verdict = car running again and quieter than before with no lifter noise so i can not only hear myself think whilst driving i can hear the motor purrrrrrrrrrrrr like a kitten Started work on repairing my standard FC steering wheel to replace the sports wheel and tidied up some of the wiring this morning. Project FC resto has begun I ordered the race bearings, rings, rods, pistons and gaskets today and hopefully will be here by the end of the week so i can continue with the engine build... Plans for the car are: build/install hot 186 change to disc brake front end finish install of 308 rear repair/replace/change interior (new front seats and rails, reupholster rear seats and door skins) gauges, repair steering wheel and change/modify dash new rubbers all around repairs to bodywork including small rust sections tidying up colour and adding the white over yellow for 59 colours repair and replace some chrome work along with re polishing wheels (and hopefully some FC caps) plus lots lots more

Dont know about other states but in Tassie you cant have blue or red as they are the emergency colours I got pinged for having green strobes (would light up a solid ring around the wheel whilst moving) on my old gixer a couple of years ago Speaking of the panels though there were a couple on EBay the other week so i would keep your eyes on there if you dont want to mod your own

If you have no joy at the radiator shops call into an exhaust place, they should be able to flare them for you. I wouldn't really worry about buying or building something to do it yourself unless your in that field of work or going to be using it ALOT as its a fair whack of cash to outlay
