  2. yeh thats what Im getting at, I completely understand their jobs in isolation, but the interaction of the boost controller, solenoid and actuator on a certain turbo/engine is important me reckons so with the jaycar IEBC as long as the boost gauge is accurate and the tune/settings good and smooth the boost curve should theoretically be perfect to say 12-13psi with the rb20 actuator on the rb25 turbo?

  4. so both actuators are dodgy if u want to hold boost to higher than 12-13psi? any reasonably priced actuators to replace with? but I guess with the rb25 turbo the safe boost level and the level that can be held by the RB20 actuator are similar so not worth it? Am I on the right track
  5. so u can have boost control problems with boost controller/actuator design? is this why people are finding it hard to tune jaycar IEBC with some actuators? which actuator should be used for RB25 turbo on RB20 with a jaycar IEBC?? (which uses the solenoid to regulate the amount of air pressure the actuator comes in contact with)

I was actually surprised by how well Heidfeld has gone compared to Webber, he has out qualified him a couple of times now but I think Heidfeld is starting from the back or something in this one? in F1 Webber, has usually seemed to qualify well, start poorly then drive solidly (generalisation but still, bloody Fisichella running into him the other race ). Hard to say whats the car and whats him, but I think when he gets the setup right and his starts and racecraft right I dont see why he wont start winning races.....hopefully
  12. hey mate, sounds like you have a good attitude so aussies will welcome you im sure. The schooling/university system is a bit different to over there I think u might have to look into it a bit further but it should be ok. Sounds like Brisbane may be ur choice place close to east coast places, I guess as others have said cost are lower in Brisbane, Perth etc but they have lower population and therefore less jobs and lower pay compared to Sydney or Melbourne. Thats a general statement however, just depends what ur after they are all good places good luck ps - for day to day surfing Sydney is arguably better than Brissy, closer beaches correct me if im wrong, but they are close north and south of the harbour, beaut harbour too :wassup: hotter up north though better for small trips

  16. lol Mark.....pleaded inissane and got off on 3 months!! :wassup: (jokes) havent needed to drive it daily for a while so its stationary and getting tweaked.....slowly but yeh changed the fuel filter already so might put the old one on and use a couple of tanks of fuel then put the new one back on I guess... check tyre pressure...anything else likely to corrode/get stale? PS- whats the deal with the air con? thanks again
  17. Hi peoples, just got a question relating to any things to check or replace when a car hasnt been running for a few months. Is there anything other than battery/engine oil/filter/fuel filter/water/coolant to check over?? eg the rust on the brake discs, does that just sand off when used again? Brakes? Fuel system/tank? It was in good order just hasnt even been cranked for a while. rb20det advice appreciated

PEOPLE READ THIS B4 DEPOSITING MONEY INTO BOOSTN247s ACCOUNT a deal was negotiated about 2 months ago for a R32 silvertop manual RB20DET ecu from him and 2 weeks later a damaged R31 useless ecu turns up. Meanwhile muliple unreplied PMs and promises of the money to be refunded and nothing has happened since. Prices for items must be posted also, do you really have any of these items how many of each do you have? Do you take orders and steal them or get the closest part? I have to wonder. I dont really care as long as you deposit the money as you say, and then maybe do some proper business and get a trader rating or piss off frankly. Please respond and clear your name it would be appreciated
  21. yup agreed, even if it does what it says for 6 months and then craps itself u cant sell it, 300 or so for a rb25 turbo pls

  23. did you read what cubes said, the series 2 (rb25) and r34 turbos have plasticy (lighter) compressor wheels and spool a little faster
  24. yeh may aswell blank the pcv and do a catch can setup at same time
