Who the F*ck are you and why have you brought your soap box here? Did I ever say that I was the worlds best driver? No... This is simply for pointing out the people on the road who make us laugh because of how hard they try. No matter what you drive you can be pointed at and laughed at by someone, there will always be many different people with many different likes and dislike. I'll bet that if you went onto the Commodore or Falcon forums you would find a thread about Skyline and Silvia "Losers" or "ricers", its called friendly competition... Deal with it or dont post here. Oh and by the way, if you see me on the Monaro in the morning going over 100km then you probably see the other 1000+ cars that are going the same speed and Im sure that you would have done it more than once, so dont get all high and mighty mate. I think youre in the wrong place... Play nice or leave.

Driving out to Fyshwick on Saturday and all of a sudden when Im in the right hand lane overtaking on the Monaro Hwy I see a white VR Commondore with a crappy looking HSV body kit RIGHT up my ass, so as usual I slowed down... Further down the road he gets the opportunity to overtake me and cut off the car in the left hand lane, so he speeds up and passes me, but he chooses to glare at me as he goes past (ciggarette in his mouth, arm out the window), so naturally this pissed me off, so I sped up and overtook him... (I know that Im a shit stirrer). This played out about 3 times, he overtakes and glares at me or makes "hand signals" and then I overtake and just smile at him, until we get to the lights at the Mugga lane turn off... We lined up next to each other and I egged him on by revving my engine, the lights went green and he sped off as fast as he could (which wasnt real fast) but I just laughed and took off normally because I knew that we were heading for the new speed camera near Hume... He flew past the camera and realised at the last minute and slammed on the brakes and then drove like a Grandma for the rest of the hwy... I couldnt stop laughing!!! LOSER

Thanks LOTS to everyonr involved in making Sunday happen, had a GREAT day. The back track was AWESOME, it reminds me of some of the "mountain" runs around the out skirts of the ACT... I managed a 1:43.8 in my R32 GTsT on street tyres which puts me up with most of the people using semi-slicks, so Im stoked. The skid pan wasnt really a rush though cos Ive been on it about two dozen times before, but it was still good to watch others and have a laugh even though I didnt do very well myself. Im glad that it was held out at Sutton, its only a 15 minute drive for me and I still had time to wash my car afterwards, sometimes its good to be a Canberran Thanks again to all involved in organising the event and all who came along. P.S. Im only fast on street tyres cos they're Federal's...... Buy Federal

I had a GREAT day and I thought that the back circut cas AWESOME! My first run wasnt to bad - 1 minute 47.04 seconds, but I hit one cone. The second was slower - 1 minute 50.02 seconds. But my third run shot me right up into some of the fastest of the day with a 1 minute 43.08 seconds! Not bad for a little R32 Gtst running street tyres Im stoked about my times, my car and by the whole day, big thanks to everyone involved! EDIT: Yes I WAS faster than Michelle (LadyBytes) who was egging me on all day about being beaten by a girl

I wouldnt ride in the car with a driver that didnt wear his seatbelt... Id rather walk and wait for the day when he hits something and goes straight through the windscreen, then (if he survived) Id visit him in hospital with a little card that I made saying "I told you so!". Does anyone know if the "stupidity gene" is naturally occuring or if it just evolves inside V8 bogans?

I think that we should have a thread dedicated to "Biggest Loser encounters". You know those guys that talk about how quick their stock VL Commodore is because he's put a K&N panel filter in it and a straight through pipe for an exhaust, or that stupidly low (chopped bump stops) Falcon with the "Hectic Racing" sticker on the back window and full of people with their hats backwards that comes racing past you on the highway doing at least 130kmh... Admit it we all come accross one or 2 of them every week and we should start sharing our funny or sad encounters with the community just for a laugh. Well, I'll start the ball rolling: I just had an encounter with a young moron who just randomly started talking to me while I was in Repco picking up some parts (yes I shop at Repco) about how he is going to put a BA XR6 turbo motor in his 1991 Fairmont auto and how he can do it himself because he's been on the internet and found instructions! I then had to chuckle to myself when I thought about how he was going to afford this when he started to haggle with the boys at Repco over the cost of a FUEL FILTER! LOL :laughing-smiley-014: Some people just need a good swift kick to the side of the head to knock some sense into them... Dont you agree??

Looks that way doesnt it... Have you guys heard about the M8 concept that BMW was going to produce? They scrapped it but it was going to be based on the 8 series but using a wide wheel base, lighter body and chassis but it was going to have a 5.7 litre V12 producing 550bhp! Niiiiiice.

Yeah, there are 2 black ones geting around the ACT I believe... They sound mean when you put the foot down because they have an "active" exhaust, which just means that there is a butterfly in each pipe that opens right up when youre into it and closes slightly when youre cruising to help save fuel, which you'd need to do when youre driving a 5 litre V12... They did have 300bhp and heaps of torque standard though, so they got up and moved pretty well.

No I never had the pleasure of even seeing an M1, I dont think that there are any in Australia... I did get to drive plenty of M3 and M5's though. By the way, that pic of the red 850i you have there is the "Alpina" model, they were even MORE expensive.

I dont know if you know Leigh but I used to work for BMW and we had all sorts of problems with the 850i's... They werent the best built beemer ever thats for sure. They also didnt sell very many because of the price tag, they were a BIG flop for BMW and I think they lost a lot money out of it too. Nice cars though and they go pretty good (even though they weigh 2 tonnes).

Are you sure youre not Irish? They landed on the runway going accross it, not along it, thats why its really short but really wide.
