  1. Well, the tyres that Im getting arent technically semi-slicks, they're still listed as a street tyre by CAMS cos they're street legal and not an R compound... So you might have the straight line power but watch out for the light weight, nimble silver R32 through the twisties mate Oh and I wouldnt be SO sure about catching up on the straight either, its all about power-weight and even though we all know that Supra's can have big power, some of the "Skyboys" here arent short of a few extra kilowatts. This should be very interesting (all in good fun)... Im hell keen. P.S. If you're slower than Michele it means that YOU GOT BEATEN BY A GIRL!!
  2. Capital Steering are the agents but you could call Fulcrum direct and ask them about it, they are the manufacturer in Australia and Im sure that there will be someone there who will answer your technical questions.
  3. Why would we want a Volvo in our display Leshy?
  4. Just pull it off and replace the belt, then you know for sure...
  5. Bite me Tinkerbell....
  6. Im using quite a few Just Jap / Cooling pro parts in my car and find that they are excellent for the price I paid... I have an R32 Gtst with an RB25DET conversion with a bit over 230rwkw and I have a pretty heavy foot. Im using the Cooling pro 40mm triple core alloy radiator and its never been a problem, the only issue I had was when I put an A'pexi cap on it and it leaked a bit, but I bent the little tabs under a bit and its been fine ever since. I used to use the Just Jap oil cooler kit aswell but found that I didnt need it, so I'll only use it for track use these days. My Power FC is usually set to monitor water temp and I have it displayed on the dash and I have never seen the temp go over 100 degrees standing still, it sits on about 81 - 86 while driving... And thats without an engine fan (single 14" thermo installed). I also use the R32 300x600x75mm bar and plate intercooler kit from Just Jap and it has been perfect from day one, my inlet temps are pretty low and boost response is pretty good considering I have a bigger turbo than stock (readings taken while on the dyno). Ive also got a lot of friends using the same intercoolers and between us we have never had an issue. I think that if you want to get every last inch of power out of your car then buy the big brand name stuff but if its just for a bit of fun and the occasional track day the Just Jap stuff is GOOD value...
  7. Is it just me or is that joke getting old?
  8. I might see if I can bring along the Federal Tyres tent so that we can all sit in the shade underneath it while still advertising quality tyres... Heheheh
  9. Im keen... Hopefully I'll have my semi-slicks by the day and then those big heavy Supra boys are in BIG trouble!
  10. Looks like you've pumped some dollars into it mate... Very very nice though. I heartly approve
  11. For Brakes I would go for Bendix Ultimate, they're great for everyday driving, takes about 2 good stops for them to get good "bite", I used them at Texikhana recently and had no fade, sqeal, grinding or excess heat... They were great. For tyres - street legal semi slicks go for Federal 595RS, best bang for your buck tyre available.
  12. Isnt there an "I can lend you thread" for this? Heheheh someone had to say it
  13. Cheers Mate... Where was this??
  14. Ah ok, I was reading it wrong... I'll be keen to see the result when the FC, boost and cooler goes in then.
  15. I would have expected more than that... especially seeing as you have a Power FC installed. My RB25DET made 186rwkw with only a front mount, exhaust and boost up... Ive seen standard RB25DET's pull 200rwkw with only a front mount, exhaust, PFC and boost turned up... Are you sure its tuned right? That seems pretty low.... No offence intended.
  16. Im still very keen on coming, but I wont be able to make the meeting... I'd like to read to notes afterwards though, just so that I have all the info.
  17. Glenieboy...Click on the link in the first post to see all of the details...
  18. Im sorry to hear that it didnt fit AJ, I was sure that the RB20 and 25 were compatible. Glad to hear that youre still going to use the RB25 throttle body though.
  19. Its about time mate... Good stuff, now you'll totally SMASH everyone at the next Texikhana seeing as you were up there with the fastest in that Starlet! Nice car, especially cos its an R32! Well done.
  20. J Racing for spraying for sure... Ive seen the work they've done on some of the AutoSalon cars... Niiiiice.
  21. You wont have a problem if you get a Power FC, Microtech, Haltech etc. because these will allow you (or your tuner) to rich up or lean out your mixtures and get it running right. That plenum came off a Gtst that was making over 300kw at the wheels and the engine was about 300,000km's old when he decided to take the plenum off, so I think you'll be fine.
  22. I used to come out to Jerra and the Museum ages ago when everyone used to go aswell... Does that make me old school?
  23. I cant believe that this is the thanks I get from you Michelle... After what I just did for you today... For shame!
  24. Im pretty keen on joining you, but I dont know if I can make the meeting as Im in the ACT, can someone take notes and forward them on to interstate people? Oh and Im trying to drum up some ACT SAU interest (its very hard though, we do live in the "boring capital" after all). Oh and if you want a picture of my car....
  25. I would certainly use the word "Pussy" to describe Nick, I dont know about "cat" though.... Hehehe P.S. You people are going to cause me to go on an SAU shooting rampage... Im serious, I will crack sometime...
