  1. Dudes! If you're in brisbane you've gotta check out the markets near the Marooka magic mile on a sunday. A few guys have a Kinchrome stall. EXTREMELY CHEAP tools! They sell boxes and rollcabs and stuff aswell, usually scratch and dent - but they're so much cheaper and its not as if you're not going to scratch it up after a while anyways. Oh and Stahlwille > rest!
  2. Are you sure its only been since you've changed the oil and filter or have you touched anything else?

  4. Ahh ok cool! I do have a 'Steel Mate' alarm. I found it while trying to look at my alarm wiring - stupid alarm siren is getting some queer feedback noise Thanks heaps guys.
  5. You need factory/genuine Nissan belt? I have a full set laying here. PM me if interested - located brissy southside.
  6. I've seen the top fuel ones on a few big hp japanese track cars. Probably just a marketing thing... Bee-Racing make a 'Power Egg' - same thing as this, they claim up to 7HP :| http://www.bee-r.com/main/parts/sonota/egg.htm the guys at the bottom of the page look like they've just been asked to do it for a photo hahahahahaha Shame that Top Fuel are making and promoting this crap when they make some other awesome stuff (besides this).
  7. Mmmm GT-RS Looking good! Where's it being built?
  8. I've only ever had that happen once in my 32. (not shift into overdrive and sit at like 3,500rpm at 100. After a bit of a thrash. Pulled over and shut it off - restarted and it was fine. Hasn't happened since. When was the last time you got it serviced / replaced trans fluid?
  9. Hi there guys, Found a little black box under the dash of my R32 and had this writing on it: (drawn up as best i could replicate) It looks aftermarket, but i could be wrong. Just wondering what the thing is. Thanks in advance!
  10. Get yourself some sort of penetrant like CRC etc and douse the bolts and give it time to penetrate the threads and loosen them up a bit. Now use a socket and breaker bar (if you can get one) and put a long piece of pipe on the end of it to get some extra leverage on them. Or if you had access to a rattle gun....
  11. GDZ11 - R32 GTR, on Kingsford Smith Dr ----> HOT!!! ....Driver, and the car too!
  12. Mate i'd be getting some measurements from the other side and comparing differences to see which other components are bent.
  13. I'm aware that they make a horrible noise blind_elk - what i wanted to know the brake light on dash had anything to do with the pad wear. Thanks anyway. Thanks Adam!
  14. As the topic title suggests... Does the brake warning light (one that comes on when the handbrake is on) come on when the brake pads are low? I know my pads are low at the front, but I was tidying up a few wires under my steering column earlier and after a drive this afternoon my brake warning light came of a few times intermittently then stayed on. I turned the car off and it went away. I took off and it came back on again - and now is staying on. I went for another drive and kept fiddling under the dash with the wires and the light didn't go out. Would any of the wires for the handbrake light indicator be under the steering column anyway? I guess though, if the brake pad warning light came on when the pads are low that this could be my answer? Thanks in advance, Shannon
  15. Anyone get away with not having to cut the reo for the JustJap cooler kits?
  16. Seems a few people are now getting done for this in Brisbane, including a few mates. Let us know how you go. Good luck with it!
  17. Roy: What would be a better option (given the extra few hundred) than the likes of HSD, ISC, KTS and D2 then? Tein etc?
  18. I just got it! hahah I wanted it when it first came out but couldn't justify spending the money on buying a console just to play it. So now i got a 2nd hand one and getting into it now.
  19. Thank you so much Paul! You've helped me out more than you think! Champion!
  20. First in, best dressed? lol I'll pick them up tonight if i can! PM SENT
  21. I always contact the forum traders first as they usually have the gear and may give you an SAU discount etc. Send PM's to the Traders or post a Wanted-To-Buy thread on here or SecretDrift? forums traders and members usually have plenty of bits around aswell! But here's a list of shops anyways! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jap Only Auto Parts 41 Kenway Drive, Underwood, QLD, 4119 (07) 3386 0226 A1 Nissan Wrecking 94 Musgrave Rd Coopers Plains Ph: 3277 8926 All-Jap 62 Kingston Rd Underwood, 38410066 ALL Auto Imports 78 Delta st, Geebung Ph: 3265 5966 All Automotive Import Parts Shed F, 260 Zillmere rd, Zillmere Ph: 3865 2181 Asian Auto Spares Showroom: 198 Kingston Rd, Slacks Creek Ph: (07) 3208 0133 www.asianautospares.com.au Zoom Auto imports 2/120 Glenora Street, Wynnum QLD Ph 3348 6939 Option 1 Garage 7 Remora Rd, Hamilton Phone : 3268 1113 www.option1garage.com.au
  22. Spotted a black R32 on Logan Rd (near Freedom servo) this morning. Can't remember plates (maybe [***NUG]?), but had the stock wing. Anyone on here?
  23. They go plenty low enough! Any lower is just silly - unless you're a fan of scraping and scrubbing?
  24. Even better if you have an APEX'i EL series gauge (60mm) as they fit in perfectly - no cutting/boring! Just need to secure it from the back (ziptie etc) and its apples! CLICK ME
  25. I have a slightly similar problem with my 2 door My window goes up fine but i can hear it clicking like its still trying to go up (or down when at bottom), even though its already as far up (or down) as it can go. I can stop it by tapping the up or down button once. It only happens on auto-up and down function. Mine doesn't make a whirring noise though. Was going to replace the switch box and see how that goes. Anybody know if there is an 'initialisation' procedure you can perform on the power windows at all, to let the motor know its end stops?
