so good news fixed all my problems :PBJ: with a litre of high temp atf and a litre of 80w140 (which looks like honey). it ended up begin the wrong oil in the transfer case and in the rear diff. no more grinding noises and other random noises!! Thanks wrxhoon your idea with the breaker bar worked beautifully. Also thanks to everyone else for your help!!! I am now off to coventries to the guy how sold me the oil!!!!

ok cheers for all the info but i have just one more question, which is what oil you guys use for the diff, cause all the problems that iam having seems to stem from the fact that some guy at convertries told us that i can use superlight shock proof oil for the gearbox, diff and transfer case. And thats why i think iam having issues with the grinding noises in the diff and transfer case!!

ok cool thats the bolt i was tring to undo! and i dont have a breaker bar so i will have to struggle with a normal socket spanner!! So i dont have to air any lines once i have drained and refilled the tranfer case?

ok cheers sorry missed that umm so the gearbox and transfer case are different compartments? and to drain the transfer case you need to undo the plug that is on the drivers side of the case? (cause last time i tried to undo it, it was impossible) Is there any thing else i have to do when i drain the transfer case? sorry about all the questions but iam new to this gtr stuff (i didnt realise how complicated a GTR is!!)

does any know if the transfer case takes different oil to the gearbox?

hi all I have an issue with my GTR which i had brought about a week ago, now i know that GTR's came with viscous diffs but how tight are these diffs cause on my car when you turn it seems like the inner wheel is skipping ( it actually sounds like there are some gears grinding) and its worse in reverse. This didnt happen in my GTSt which had a viscous diff! Or does my car have a mechinal diff and it supposed to make that sound Any ideas/advise would be awesome!

Cause i can sorta remeber someone saying that they run on sundays after woop ass wednesday is finished

so what happens with the drags? do they move it to a different day? or is over until summer?

sorry what i mean is on the inside there is material that surrounds the rear window (b pilar backwards), on mine it is coming off. hope that helps if not i will take a photo tonight.

Hi all Ok so here it goes, just brought a 1992 gtr went to pedders to get a wheel alignment done and found out that the steering rack is stuffed and so is the rack mounting bushings. So if any knows of someone or some place that does/sells steering racks for an r32 gtr's that would awesome! Cheers

hi Well the exhaust is 3.5 inch all the way through with a middle muffler and a end muffler. Looks very similar or even could be like a HKS or Turst exhaust. We got it from some jap wreckers saying it would fit an 32 but it didint so all we did was modify the length and the supports, thats all. It should fit a 2 door also but not sure. It bolts atraight on after the cat and looks and sounds good. cheers

Yeah mate same question will the plenum fit an RB20det and is it from a GTR If yes then how much??

Mate How heavy are these clutch's as compared to the orginal nissan clutch's Easy on the foot especially in traffic!! Cheers
