  1. If you've received some goods, could you please post up what you received, just so it gives us who are waiting an indication of what's been sent out.
  2. I personally believe that at least one executive should be at each "major" event. Thursday nights are cool if no one turns up, cause it's jsut a meet and greet and drive, nothing major. But on a more serious note like the "massive skyline cruises" and the dyno day, not one executive turned up. I was actually quite cranky at that. Especially on the last MSC where there were 77 potential members for the club and no exec showed? Even if the club wasn't finalised, it still would have been a great marketing point to hand out flyers on the current state of the club. I'm sorry to say, but I agree with Adrian and others on the whole "exec's not showing" at events thing. Even if you don't like a cruise down the coast, jump in someone elses car so you don't have to drive. And it's not that hard to stand around and watch cars get dynoed (specifically being a sponor's workshop and no exec shows). I understand people are busy and have lives/family, but we aren't all asking for all three to show, just one. Just my 2cents too.
  3. We've already done two massive skyline cruises to the coast... Time for something different
  4. That's your dream isn't it Paul Hey btw... I gotta go now. Hospital time! Normal Tuesday expedition to the hospital.
  5. Normally at one of the monthly meetings, the members would get to vote as to who they want as a replacement and the majority gets voted in. But why did slip (and others) do all the hard work and then want to relinquish his position? That bit confuses me.
  6. I will be doing a scouting day sometime soon in regards to the third Massive Skyline Cruise. I'm thinking of heading up north, a nice drive through a few mountains and then out to one of the dams for a BBQ lunch and an afternoon of fun and shenanigans. I've also been approached by a photographer for one of the car magazines to do a story on the next Massive skyline cruise. I'd like to also have it as a donation to charity cruise as well. I'd personally prefer it was the Cancer research fund as I've had one person this year pass away of cancer and my grandfather is currently fighting cancer. But obviously closer towards the date and when more organisation goes in, I'll ask for preferences to which charity people would prefer. If you are interested in helping scout the run or have any suggestions on a nice leisurely drive + bbq spot, please PM me and provide further details.
  7. I stickied this thread so it doesn't dissappear off the board. Let us know when the offer isn't available anymore and I'll remove it.
  8. Best intersection evar! Except in Brutis. Those bumps in the road don't agree with a FWD car under acceloration to get in front of the cars. EDIT: Wrong intersection.. I thought you were talking about Wynnum Road/Creek Road Outside colmslie is the worst intersection. People slow down in the left lane to pull into the shopping centre and people in the right hand lane slow down to turn right.
  9. hahah... only. Your a dork Melv.

  12. Hi
  13. Now she's just gone home! No wonder she cancelled this afternoon. Too many chiefs.. Not enough indians.
  14. I have no idea what she wants either. I just had my damn probation review last Wednesday. She said on Friday that we'd have to postpone our meeting.. I'm like.. FFS woman, I only just saw you 2 days ago. I feel like a little kid! I dont know what the hell she wants to talk about. She told me all she needed to last Wednesday. Seeming she's still on her probation, I don't believe she has any right to tell me about my probation...
  15. Hero
  16. Don't you hate it when your boss wants to talk to you about something they organised prior to today, and you have no idea what they want to talk about :S
  17. I don't actually think Richard Hull is on the forums... Or if he is, he's a silent member

  20. Certainly is. Then the fee next year won't be as much.
  21. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...0&postcount=229 That particular post is a copy of the application form for the club. Hope this helps.
  22. I'm not going to go as far as giving him negative feedback. That's a bit rough. I'm sure theres a very good explaination for what's happening, it's just he isn't telling us or updating us on it's status. I'm getting pretty frustrated like everyone else, but as ferni mentioned, I'm sure theres a good explaination as to why it's happened like this.
  23. Thanks to everyone who turned up and to the extras that did to fill the spots of the ones who didn't bother. Some good consistant results from a few cars and some suprises from others. I think the top figure on the day was Richard Hull with 312.8rwkw (don' t have my sheet with me at this point in time). Lowest of course being the cappucino with 37.7rwkw. Thanks to everyone for hanging around and being so patient with the swapping and changing of the schedule of cars for the day. With people having to be gone by certain times and others having to drive back to towoomba, I'm sure it was frustrating, but thanks for sitting it out. Also, thanks to Cameron, Trent and the boys at Mercury Motorsports for running the dyno (they didn't finish till 8pm!), putting on the free food for all who attended and going that extra mile with things that other dyno places wouldn't normally do. All in all, it was a great day and thanks to everyone who made it
  24. Just letting you guys know that Cameron will be posting all results/pics and dyno sheets on their website. http://www.mercurymotorsport.com.au I think Andrew took more videos than pics so we'll hopefully upload then within the next few days
  25. Here's one for $150. It's in Newcastle http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ghlight=ecu+r33 $170 for another one in adelaide. But if a Manual one isn't going to work, theres no point. Maybe MJ might have one. I know he's got an auto and has recently put a Wolf3D in. Maybe try and pm him to see what he did with it?
