How much did it cost Robocop to rebuild the air con compressor? I'm up for one of them as well. Being told from different places to just get a new one or recondition the old one. I've got two. My original one borked so I bought a second hand one and the same thing happened within like 2 months.

When you say that some of the job was insurance and the rest was "private". How much of it was private and how much did the original repsray cost you? Just wondering cause I'm in the same predicament atm. Second time the cars gone back and I'm not happy at all. I'll see how it comes out this time. I was told that a $2300 "white repsray" was a cheap job? And the orange peel was the different between a cheap and an expensive respray. To me, $2300 aint cheap (with a little ice pearl thrown into the clear coat) job. Seeming we are giving him another go, I won't post pics of how crap it looks just yet. But yeah, just wondering how much it originally cost.

If you got he alarm installed, what about the place that installed it for you? Or ring viper alarms themselves. I'm sure there'd be a head office somewhere.

IMO if you bought that phone for your sister, she should take it and be thankful for it. But that's just me. Not everyday someone gives me a new phone. I haven't really played around with the phone much. I'm either at work or driving so I'll try. Maybe my phone is set onto phone memory not sim card. Not sure but yeah.

The Motorola V600 only holds about 20 sms' in the inbox. I had my birthday not long ago and had only had this phone for a few days and the inbox was full with only 20 messages in it. Besides that. It's a great phone. Cheap too if you purchase it for over $500 outright.

I think motorbikes are 10 times more unsafe and unpredictable than a car. I don't know how many times I've seen a motorbike go up between traffic and nearly loose it and get killed. I had an accident in may this year (on my opens, not on my p's) where a guy ran up the back of my car and tried to say it was my fault. He refused to pay so I went through my insurance. Cost me nothing because I had all his details from when he ran into me. So instead of him paying $250, he's now paying $390. Idiot. My skyline is *MY* first car. I've driven my b/f's cars when I was on my p's but never had an accident. We had a HJ kindswood and a ford laser. Both his cars. The skyline was the first car *I* purchased and I have not caused an accident as of yet. I haven't lost any points off my licence since it was issued. I've only once been pulled over by the police and that was for a warning for street racing. That's the ONLY time I've been pulled over. As someone has already said, you drive within your limits, not within the cars limits. You always imagine that everyone else on the road is a moron and their actions are very unpredictable.
