Drift Damage 19/5/2005 -
let me know if you guys are gunna be down at the foreshore this weekend. I might come down for a bit. You should see my car now Linton, with my newly aquired drift damage the front bar is starting to look as ratty as yours :headbang: And with the airboxes, there's no real rush. My mate with the 180 says he still might want one, and I discovered he has a piece of thin checker plate bent around where his box would go, would be perfect for getting the size when you get time.

Suspension Control Arm
monkeykplunk replied to monkeykplunk's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
sorry.... front left hand lower control arm and my mate did some ringing around for me while I was at work, and SSS quoted him $200 -
Is there any difference between a control arm for an R32 and an R33? I had a minor disagreement with a gutter and have a small kink in mine. I rang around a few places but everyone quoted me around $200 for one.

It'd only ever be cool on a completely black GTR. Anything else, and I'd have to change my vote and ram the plates up your..... :headspin: :headspin:

I'll send ya pm later Linton, but definately want one. If you wanna hand, or wanna try and modify it to a 180 as well, we move on Tuesday and the Driftpimp garage will be set up and ready to go by wednesday or thursday It'll go great with the new Blitz pod I just purcahsed!

nah, i was d/l other stuff, and looking at shite here on about 3 dif windows too :looney: I can't believe how damn hot that thing gets! No wonder aerodynamics and airflow in general is damn important in building an F1 car! I love how everyone has their fingers in their ears except for the one guy standing closest :headspin:

lol I've never tried to remove it. I assume it was on there when the former owner imported it, so it's prob stuck down the same.

flashget my arse! 2 1/2 mins on a 1.5Mb connection

I tend to disagree... I find I get the same out of any 98 octane fuel..... But each to his own I guess..... The other thing I've got to say about this spam is, that it simply won't work. And especially not out my way. We've got all three in the one street within metres of each other. The BP is ALWAYS the cheapest, no matter what. The Caltex fluctuates alot, but the Mobil, well, they're always over the top with their prices because they know they can still stay in business cause the police station across the road has to buy from them.....lol

Christ! Oran Park isn't THAT much further downt he track, but in Sydney it does always depend on which roads you use and at what time of the day. Oran Park is about the only place that regular drift days are on now, and from Eastern Creek your looking at another 30 mins further on. But in all reality, if you know where your going well enough it should only take you about 2 - 2.5 hours to get there..... give or take. But for people like Linton, you come straight down Putty Rd, then get on the Northern Rd and follow it to Oran Park, fugging easy as, and I reckon you'd have more fun, and probably get there quicker.

Spotted black R32 doing a U turn at Karalta Rd round-a-bout (Central Coast) today at about 10 to 5pm.

I agree a little with 2GU, not all lebanese people should be persecuted for the stupidity of a few. It's the same scenario you guys have just been talking about here, but just within a certain community. The majority are really good, law abaiding people who go about there day to day business without trying to draw attention to themselves, but a few morons ruin for the lot and give them all a bad name. So whilst you might be a good bloke 2GU, and do as you say and abide by the law (as much as the rest of us here), even you have to agree that even idiots like these go a little too far at times and produce these sorts of reactions from the rest of the public and, more often than not, the police as well. But lets be honest here, if it wasn't for pathetic wastes of money like A Current Affair coming along and give these fools an outlet for their stupidity then most of them would just go unnoticed.

My other half loves the 'line now! I'm 25 and have only just bought it and we've gone through a whole bunch of shit paying for 3 car loans ever since, so all in all I'm glad she likes it. I let her drive it sometimes, she hasn't really given it a bootfull yet, but she's not game to until I get a new set of rears either. My mate and I have just finished and engine conversion on his gfs hachi, and she has to be the craziest femal driver I have ever seen. So with a 4A-GZE under the bonnet, she's gettin out on the track with us very soon! Best part about the whole thing is, her and my wife have become great friends and not so long ago my wife says to me, "When we move and I don't have to drive so much, how about we put the Lancer up for sale and buy me an S14?" Fug yeah I say! :headspin:

And as for budget.... the guy is from the US, by the time he gets here he'll be a millionare with the poo way the doller is!

yeah we use two ways on our cruises. Helps with directions, and if people get caught at lights, but once you start knowing everybody else a bit more it's actually a lot more fun to chat while your driving Especially if your the only one in your car. Only problem we've found so far with them is that they become virtually useless around the Sydney area because of the amount of others using the airwaves down there. But those of us clever enough not too live in a capital city don't have to worry about that too much now do we :headspin:

hey guys tops day! The sight and sound of so many performance cars running across the top of Charlestown was awesome! Much better than our pathetic 3-4 car cruises we have once in a blue moon. My pics are up in my gallery http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...00&ppuser=18179 Hope to do it again soon as it was great meeting you guys and just standing around talking for ages.
