What does it cost these days to import a newer evo (1999+ i belived it has to be under raws) My oldman is looking at picking one up for himself but we arent sure if it will be cheaper to shop around in perth and find one or to import one, his looking just for a stocker and in condtion with mid-km on it cheers michael

  8. first make sure your fuel pump is running ok - if it isnt it can cause major problems e.g pinging. Do FMIC 1st, you can buy a trust kit from $800 now (on specail at greenline and negun) or else get a hybrid cooler (they sell from around $250 to $400) and then get the piping made up for you (cost is around $600-$700); then go safc 2 or PFC, I would go PFC as it is a complete ecu and then you do have to sell the safc2 down the track and then buy a pfc and buy for my tuning time. also good to invest in a heavy duty clutch if you dont have one already
  9. i am not 100% sure as i have never own a twin or tripple plate clutch, but at the moment i have a brass button clutch (heavy duty styles) the petal is hard etc and if not taken off ride the car shakes like crazy. anwayz my understanding is that a twin would be hard pedal and yes hurt ur legs

  11. It would be a bitch if ur not uses to manual as its a twin plate, but i would keep it as OS Giken is a good brand and the clutch would be awsome

  16. depends what you want in the end: s13 turbo is a nice car, quick for its size and price, and u have access to alot of parts, its going to cost in insurance and fuel (as u need to run BP98) non-turbo r33 will still cost in insurance but fuel u can run watever you want, later down the line you could put a turbo rb25 engine but then u will have to change the brakes anf some other stuff too. I would go skyline as i am in love with them and not a fan on s13 unless its sil80 or 180sx

  24. i get about 400km to a tank and i run 12psi and give it alot of shit. my fuel gauge is also ****ed, my float isnt in place (when replacing my fuel pump i found out it was just floating around in the tahnk ) it is a bastar to get it back into place so i just leave it. so from then on i just always know im about 1/4 of a tank around 300km and just fill up
  25. also looking at the piping it looks like it is 3inch all the way which is ok but the stock piping and opening are only 2 and 1/2inch' so u will need a reducer in between the piping
