ok good news, mod your cars, will give us a group buy price just need the part numbers for the plenum and i will aslo get one for the adp kit so people can have the opition

Jsut an update on the groupbuy: have also contact Mod You Cars and ask them for a group-buy prices. I am also try xspeed and a few other places

Thizzle, that is far from the truth, hopfully gts-t vspec will see this post and add his 2cents as he is the one which show me the dyno graphs and will be able to explain it much better than me

i would do internals 1st i think it would be cheaper tuning wise as u would only have to get the car tune once and there is no chance of u braking it before the internals r put in, if u get me just something to think about dont wanna do all the bolt-on mods and damage the engine then have to wait for the cash to come in to get the internals done mike

Worse than the stock plenum? you joking right....? I have had this talk with 2 workshops already, the greddy plenum isnt really need unless ur chasing high hp numbers (400rwhp+) but like croat said im getting it main to reduce piping and the time it takes to do another jobs

I use Mobil 1 (fully-synthetic), i cant say anything bad about the oil. I think the ture test of the oil was when i blow my oil line (turbo -> engine) lost about 4L of oil and was driving the car with oil light on and oil pressure at 0 (dont ask ) after fixing the line and putting refilling the car with Mobil 1, the engine was OK, my mech said i was very lucky and he didnt think there was a chance in hell my engine would have made it. so my moneys with Mobil 1 i also hear Redline is good 2

hey, im getting mine for $1375 to my door. alone with a Trust R-spl FMIC Kit, the piping suits the plenum for $3000 all up, i think thats not a bad deal

Ok to get into the 12's you will most likly need to change the stock turbo. I would go like this exhuast + dump + front pipe (no need for screamer) Air filter ($100 K&N) FMIC (hybird 600x300x76 $400-$500 + piping) Greddy Plenum (option really, just cut down on piping and is only good if ur aiming for higher power lvls $1200) Ecu (power fc, wolf3d, motec etc, depending on the tuners in ur area will depend on what u get really if you have a good pfc tuner i would take that over an average wolf tuner) (PFC should cost you around $1300 inc hc) EBC (apexi, hks,greddy price $500-$800) Turbo i would go HKS GT25 (or highflow stock turbo) both i have seen good results and making a r33 run 12's injectors i belived 550 would be the best for the power you would be aiming for Just something to think about i have been told that pushing as stock r33 engine over the 300rwhp becomes risky and can results in damaging the engine really easy. Also you will be clutch and stock upgrade, and also bigger tyres than stock to make it easyer to get traction thats all i got for now, hope it helps. Ohh yeah 12's isnt easy, drag racing isnt easy i ran a best @ 14.3 with 170rwhp (est i would say be around that mark) i could do better now the car is runing better etc, but getting the power to the ground is always the problem. Autobox i would add cooler on it, do a serach heaps of info on r33 auto boxs. ohh yeah and if u are using an r33 for drift, u need a 5spd auto wont cut it mike

hey gtst89, i will also be doing the same sometime in dec (will be doing it with fmic) with the Throttle body adaptor u can buy the kit with the plenum to suit the r33 rb25, or else i belived a Q45 throttle body will fit perfectly. Water and vacim lines, if need to be extened is easy as going to buy the lines from autoshop (i guess it is the same stuff i use when i did my ebc) I am also interested in the throttle cable mods :confused: cheers mike

its an in dash DVD/TV and it has been set up to only play when the car isn't moving (so its all legal), was talking to dan about it the other day

tdawg in about a month or so time, i will have full set (shocks and springs) front and rear as i am replacing mine. The only problem is they arnt in that good of condtion, but cuz of that u can have them for basicly nothing

Problem found yes it was an exhuast leak, need to replace gasket and maybe this is time for a new turbo

just alittle curious abit off topic; seems abit of "Attacking" going on between tuners and tuning houses in perth lately? is it just me. Also what is everyones problem? I have run my car on 2 dynos in perth both DD and i made within 10rwhp on each other (one was @ sst and the other @ hyperdrive). So why when a wa car makes a nice power on stock injectors its it a lie or fake. seams alot of people are quick to have a goo but each to his own i guess edit: im pretty sure pauly engine went bang bang cuz he try to run something around 30 or 40psi hehehehe
