im guessing a Q45 throttle body is bigger than the stock one, wat affect does this have?

mine runs 0.4bar

Steve, lumpy at hyperdrive, said it will be fine to run 0.6bar daily driver but on the dyno its no good

B-Man; the person who did the dyno run isnt a no-body and know his shit. He told me get fmic. i want to get a plenum for the simple fact that if i do change my turbo there is no point me doing the ic piping 2times if i go from stock to aftermarket plenum. Also my car is tune fine, the dyno dude said if i got a safc II, it would be pointless he wont change my air, fuel ratio cuz they are fine not too rich and not lean. my timing is stock

here is the photo of what happen at around 190rwhp, as u can seen the graph starts to jump up and down which means the engine is pinging (ps that is the AFR:P line)

hey thanks for the reply, my car is running 100%. The car has some sort of custum turbo using the differnt front end and the stock r33 rear end, also the car has a ebc set to 0.6bar (no spiking) i have exhuast (catback), ait filer, bov and r34 gt-t cooler upgrade. But yeah the place i took the car too is very good place (not a backyard job) was done a ShootOut Mode Dynodansice (whoever u spell it) V4.

get the civic, becuase the skyline is 1. old 2. non-turbo 3. going to cost u an arm and a leg and possible ur right ball for insurance

Also, at the moment i have my bov (hks ssqv) in the stock postion. When i install the fmic, is it best to put the bov on the pipe coming out of the plenum?

Why does everyone think civic are slow? a eg6 vtec will be far from slow trust me

hey, I just had my r33 dyno, and the dyno was stop cuz it started to ping (was only running 0.6bar). So its time for FMIC. I want to do it right the 1st time so im going to buy a intake plenum alone with the fmic. I was looking at the Greenline website and saw Trust GReddy Surge Tank (Intake Parts) ¥73,631 Intake Plenum. Suitable for use with TRUST or standard fuel rail and injectors. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trust Throttle Body Adapter (Intake Parts) ¥7,363 Adapter to use factory throttle body with GReddy Surge Tank (Intake Plenum). I was told i would need the throttle body adapter, is this ture? and is this baiscly all i need apart from the ic? thanks mike

NISMO LM WIDEBODY only 1 in Australia not ture, there is a r33 in perth with the nismo LM widebody but its on a gtst i think

hey KLowN, the dude of the fourm which sell the neons is really good, the qaulity of the neons and the brightness is second to none and only cost around $250 i think and u can get custum sizes

KLowN, each to his own i say i have seen blue neons on a black car looks alright (thou blue is common neon colour) i have only seen red and that was on a white car and it didnt look very good Might try to look at UV colour (black light) that might look good on a black skyline hmm i like purple so that might be alright choice, in the end its up to you and what colour you like the best dw about the replys from other members maybe they dont like neons ( maybe) but who cares it isnt there car its yours i say go for it if u really like them

ric777, wat i was tring to say is that brake is abit of a worry to me, sometimes i miss judge concers (or if i dont know where i am), and i have to brake quickly, i will not be speeding or anything but becuase i dont know the area, i am unsure of the concer. do u get what i am tring to say? ahahaa no! the cv8 isnt just a commowhote with 2 less doors. the cv8 for has a LS1 350chevy which is the same engine as in the hsv (its different spec to the ss one) It has Full leather intertor (i think u can pick up to 4colours) And is just an all round better car than a 4dr commowhore. I dont hate holdens, they make alright cars they got to do the best with that they got. for them to make all the parts is very pointless and would cost them so much more money ohh yeah and a cv8 is like $50k, commowhore is 30 to 40k

Also, i think that perth is lacking the places for people to take it to the track. We have the motorplex which is great, but im sure alot of people would like to see something for once a week or once every 2 weeks. Alot of the younger drivers also are into drift (i am for sure) and perth has no place really where we can go fang it out for a night a week, i think if they built a purpose built drift track someone where too not far (possible near motorplex or airport area) and had it once a week alot of drivers would pay to go for a drift
