The V-spec version of the R33 GT-R was used as a base for the 400R, to produce a road-going version of the LM and GT racecars of the day. Most parts have been upgraded, but it`s probably more interesting to look at what hasn`t been upgraded, namely the Brake calipers/disks, the gearbox and the Camshafts/valves. The standard 5MT gearbox is suited well enough to the increased horsepower, as are the Brembo brakes, which only neccessitated a brake pad upgrade. The primary goal of the RB-X GT2 engine design was the increased torque whih came about with the 2.8L capacity increase. 47.8kg/m@4400rpm neccessitates the Twin-plate heavy duty chro-moly clutch upgrade, aswell as the Carbon driveshaft. All these additions serve not to break away from the base GT-R design, but to enhance the base GT-R V-Spec model one rank up in the GT Street class.   8. hey hey, i am with famous (or going with them), they are the only one which will touch me. Doesn't matter if i was second driver as the youngest driver has to be put 1st on all insurance. The car i am buying is Riaz (aka No_repect) Skyline R33 GTS-T 93

  13. going to see riaz 2morrow, work out the price and then should have the car by tuesday or wed the lastest if the bank isn't a dick about getting the money out
  14. will lets just say yes i got insurance and yes i am buying the car :D i think i might be the youngest Skyline owner as i havnt turn 17 yet and i am still on my L's

  17. UrbanChaos, they are very rare at the Nismo Show in Jap, the people looking at the car weren't allowed to touch the car, they had to stand about i would say afar distance back, and for the specs they are basicly a tuned up GTR by nismo

  21. MarkO, some turbo_timers and boost controll have the speed limited - turn off functions if that helps

  24. Nismoist, would it be cheaper to buy yourself a nice c4? you could turbo or sc it with the money left over
