i have a fraud charge against him - and to make matters worse he nicked off to the UK. I have to try and buy the car back at auction

the guy a bought it off - a ex copper - used it as colateral on another loan. So he illegally sold me the car. So his bank has taken it.

i hate waiting to get a car - its too much excitement!! Yeah - i wont be getting it back without paying for it... its all just a big screwup and it got taken while I was in singapore, the just took it from my house

Yes I will still have my original loan - but the reserve price for the car is really low, so it wont be double. I am trying to do a deal with the bank - but they reckon they cant let me buy it back direct from them (no auction) unless the loser gives them permission - cause its his debts. Which is phucked... always protecting the bad and not the innocent

the wine was really really nice. I will have to buy it again actually... i doubt they sell it in the shops

thanks everyone. I called Riaz - riaz great help!! I am going to offer the bank direct the reserve price.... if it doesnt work - off to auction

I am going to phone the guys case manager from the bank - the one I have spoken to at least oncea week and I am going to do what you said - offer the reserve... but this is a $18000 car for like a $30 - 40000 loan... dont ask me how, what etc hahah all I know is that he used the skyine as security for the loan or whatever. So the bank will want to get as much as poss... which worries me that they think they will get more than the reserve at auction. Dumb privacy act is preventing me getting too much info - but the copper that i have pressed charges with was a cop with my dad... so he has been getting alot of info for me

hey riaz!!! everyone is telling me there is no way i am going to get my car back the way I was talking to you about it..... i guess I shouldnt get my hopes up do you know what skylines go for at auctions - one with a rear end hit (about $500 damage)... is there a big market for them? thanks so much for the advice though - I am still going to try
