Fuel Cut, How Do I Get Round It?
MsG_ChRiS replied to black_gtst's topic in Forced Induction Performance
hot4s installed a turbosmart fuel cut defended or something of the like on one of the staffs modified r33's from memory they used autostyle or someone like that ... it fixed the the dip in the power curve at top end (the rich and retard thingy) ... it works like SK said clamps the afm voltage between certain revs so the ecu stays happy worth a call to turbosmart to get the goss ... -
no i cant say i have ... but i did see something like that in a hot4s mag ... it was an electric turbo good for a 3psi of boost or somwthing like that ... quite strange

newkleer has a consult/lcd which displays the error/fault codes and can also reset them ... check it out ... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=130985 do you mean that your car does this upon start up ... i had the same prob i was told to reset the ecu and then turn the car on and let it idle to operating temp ... then hold the revs at 2000 rpm exactly until the car makes this noise bout a min or so ... let the car idle for 30 secs then turn it off .... leave it to cool turn it back on and see if the prob is still there its only on a cold start isnt it?
-
we would but its a s2 one we are after
-
man i would like to do it for ya man but for 1 im to lazy as are most people on this site and 2 im to lazy. jokes aside it takes alot of time to do it well and your probally best to try to do it for yourself ... i just aquired a copy of photoshop and im teaching myself things through guides on the internet ... lots of fun ... plus its a good feeling to create something like that yourself. My two cents ... good luck though getting someone to help

i made up an mdf shelf lol fitted it and everything ready to go in just never got round to carpeting it might do that tomorrow ... get yourself an amp that will give 50 ~ 75 ginuine watts rms per chanel ... a good set of splits (ive got pioneer only because they were so cheap i couldnt say no ... but go for boston acoustics man they are great sounding splits ) & just something basic for rear fill nothing flashy ... you want the front stage to sound the best... remember its better to over power your gear than to under power it also so the bigger the amp you can get the better (this also gives you room for better gear) ... if you cant afford to get all of it get only the amp and the front splits because these are key to a good sounding system ... things like an mdf shelf and sound deadening in a line are a good idea also ... and if you are going to be running two amps get yourself a capacitor also jaycar one will do fine ... otherwise you'll over tax your cars power when you play your music loud your lights and shit will dim and its not good for your car ... ok end rant

No worries ... Yup ... im happy with my line With 0-100 times unless you flat change every gear ... most stock lines will be close to that time ... They thrash f**k out of the cars they get those times out of ... I'll have a look tomorrow for that mag man ive got to search through a six foot high stack lol (<--- not looking forward to that lol) I reckon ive spent $1500 ~ $2k on magazines man (<--- thats a high flow or something lol ... )
