ROZ85 i cut the bends with a steel cut off saw or drop saw as i call it.... like a big grinder...

i also have the engine x member(front) for an r32 gtst....

do u have acces to the specs and pics on this turbo ??? i am intrested as i am chasing a turbo at the moment .... reason for sale???? im in toowoomba and i am able to come get it.... and what is it off car/truck and have u used it yourself???are u negotiable??? sorry for all the questions...

ill see what i can do for pics of what u need mate..... i re located 1 of the horns to the underside of where the std air box bolts into..... cause u cant see it there mainly..... and i re located the air temp sensor by zip tieing it to one of the a/c pipes just behind the cooler...( i never use the climate control so its ok for me and i dont think it would alter anything noticably anyway as far as readings go)... i pretty much from start to finish took about 8 hrs.... i went at it pretty steady and only did most of the work at night in my small garage id say a full day would pull it up really easilly...... i know of a really easy way for you to actually mount the cooler aswell.... its pretty hard to explain on here but if u would like to give me a buzz i can tell ya pretty easilly .......

i had to cut a fair wack outa the front metal bar support (the bit the plastic bar goes over) using identical cooler to urself.... i used mandrel bent mild steel 2.5 inch thin wall pipe and some std piping aswell.. saved a fair bit in bends too... there is not enuf room to re route piping to the std pipes so i went in thru the inner guard just to the passenger side/below of the battery and up and along between the front of the engine and the fan plenty of room for it too.... main probs were re locating the horns and the climate controll ambient temp sensor which was not hard to do anyway just fiddily.... oh and also u need to modify the bonnet latch support too so the cooler fits..... if u need more info i can pm u my mobile number and give me a buzz if u have to man..... i cut the bar with a 4 inch angle grinder with a very small stainless metal cutting wheel in it worked great.... im not sure if any of that makes sense or helps lol...

the computer is still learning i guess but yeah noticible better flow and boosts alot easier and smoother for sure... was a good investment....

this is my new cooler that i just finished installing in my line.....i did ALL the work myself other than making the cooler..... i am not 100% finished on the front bar but it was good to get it back on more trimming and tidying up is needed..... so what do ya think???? :uh-huh:

i looked on the apexi usa site and they only list one part number so it should basically fir most things id say..... looks like ill just get it and go for it.... CHRIS how many wores roughly is there to hook up and do they mostly just hook into the loom near the ecu?? the one i am getting has instructions i just wanna know what i am getting myself into....

no one in my town does any stuff like this lol...... i have to sprt it myself.... meggala says they are universal fit..... just have to wore to suit i wouldnt mind betting he is right he is pretty damn switched on.....

hey guys i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if the apexi safc's suit any car at all.... i know they have to be wired in to suit the car but i just need to know that it will work on my car ok before i buy it...... and also how many wires need to be hooked up roughly and do these just go into the loom near the ecu???? so basically what i need to know is are they a universal thing like one model suits all cars.... any info would help thanks guys Jon:uh-huh:

i have a sweet white r32 but in qld and a bit outa ur price range but i may be able to fix that by taking mods off it which will also help insurance issue aswell..... its for sale in the cars for sale section may be a few pages back.....

dude i reccomend if u just had it built take the car to where u had it done and get them to fix it..... it seems to be surging bad.....which is not a good thing at all.....

yeah man i think what u have is a delco v8 vn-t commie air temp sensor..... it needs to know what temp air the engine is getting.... tap it in cooler piping about 100mm b4 the throttle body and u will never have another problem again.....remember to thoroughly seal it to prevent leaks.....
