  1. Hey hey, I got my boost switch in the exact same position, unfortunantly it also has that bright red cover thingy that stands out just toooo much (yep, just that touch of red covering the boost switch makes my interior look to ricey 4 me). Paul Paul
  2. I just got Bridgestone Potenza G3's put on all 4, and I was getting the alignment done and they said there is a problem with the alignment in the passenger side rear, they had to keep it on a slight negative camber... He said it may have been bumped into a curb in Japan or something, and this could inturn affect high speed cornering. He recommended the best thing for me to do was speak to whiteline about a bush kit which may fix the problem up a bit...dunno, will c Paul Paul
  3. you can get a nice one for free here
  4. cool cool, Hopefully they come and check out the forums after you've insured with them so they don't learn about your drifting habit first...
  5. Do you know who they are backed by inark?? I'm up for my just cars full comp in December, which is $2300... What are Famous Classic Cars contact details?? Paying by the month seems shaweet

  7. Hey ppls, I just had an fmic fitted, as well as a new POD filter and the boost upped on my R33. I now have a switch inside my car which means I can switch between two boost settings, the first and most often used is round 6-7psi, the second setting is at around 11-12psi I believe... I am having a problem with the standard boost guage in the car, when I have it on the regular 6-7psi setting, when I come onto boost it shoots up to '0' and never gets any higher, although when I switch it to the higher bost setting, of which I can feel when driving that there is actually more boost, the guage works as normal, well, at least how it did before I had the boost upped therefore telling me I'm getting as much boost as I upped the boost...Umm..I guess that sounds pretty confusing!! I am assuming this is a problem with the connection to the guage but am unsure, anyone else had this problem??? Also, what psi does the standard guage go up to? Thanks alot, Paul Paul
  8. My insurance is up for renewal, I'm definantly interested!
  9. Full credit to the Monaro, as much as it wasn't really 'production material', hey neither was the Mosler... But to have the car finished ten days before the race and then go on and win is definantly something good! Hopefully we can see some GTRRRRs there sometime soon Paul Paul
  10. Here's a good website to go to to find out where permanent fixed speed cameras, red light camers and some other stuff are, pretty nifty really! http://www.roadwatch.com.au Paul Paul
  11. Where did u guys go to get it fitted?? I spoke to one place, and they quoted $600, that's including piping and mounting! Is this about right?
  12. blind_elk: Wow, that's a pretty good price, I might go down and check them out tomorrow. What size cooler was it??
  13. Thanks guys... might speak 2 ice... Paul Paul
  14. Hey ppls, Just a bit of a question I got here about prices and the best place to go for a front mount ic. It seems I have a leak in my standard 33gtst intercooler, that would be leaking air I assume, and it is leaking through a previously patched point in the cooler, therefore a refix is not really an option, as in the words of goldmember I aint toight... Therefore, I'f I'm going to fork out the money to get a new cooler I thought I may as well go an aftermarket front mount...any excuse will do I guess! So I need some ideas... - Im not after anything huge, and I'm not looking at spending truck loads, It would be great If I could get something second hand or the like, or even a well made no name. - Any recommendations on places to go for one in Melbourne? That would include somewhere that could source and fit? - And of course estimates on prices would be great? Thanks, Paul Paul
  15. yeah that's true, the newspaper thing.. There's some chemical on newspapers that for some reason makes them good for cleaning windows. I clean inside the windows with newspaper and water, works a treat!
  16. It is legal to not carry your liscence on you, they can't get you for that... My friend got pulled over for a roadworthy check, he has an immaculate looking BMW E36, The cop didn't mind that he didn't have his liscence on him. My friend found it funny that the cop wanted to get in to rev the engine to see if there was smoke coming out of the exhaust...
