i drive an R33 GTST series II, nicks bro's John and Mick just installed the list of upgrades in my signature for me.

yeh, it pushed 320 awkw, on only 12psi, he just fixed his dog box and installed a twin plate clutch, he can up the boost to 20psi and give it a shot of NOS, and aim at a low 10second 1/4 mile. thing is its not laggy at all....

yeh i thought so, i was thinking arond the 350 mark should be right, so u guys think i should get it re-tuned? or take it back to my prev tuner?

i think i know who ur talking about, i think his name is John, his workshop is next to col's body shop and reece plumbing, not far from repco? if it is then i also recomend him he is very good.

any ideas on how much i should be getting out of a full tank? as my signature states, i have a GT30R with almost 250rwkw.....

yeh it was after the tune.. i can eliminate all those factors, as i have all the following new: Air Flow Meter, 550cc injectors, Fuel Reg, o2 sensor, and new vacuum lines.... i think i have to speak to the tuner, it does pop and crackle a lot...

i dont know if was for max power as it runs rich. there is also a small flat spot at about 2000rpm...

yeh i figured that it maybe things like that, but the thing is i have a new o2 sensor, new fuel reg, and i just had it tuned, thats why i was thinking its prob the tune... the reason for this thread is i was after some thoughts/comments from those who have similar mods to me, and how their fuel economy is, in other words what i should be expecting..

Hey guys, i have a small problem at the moment with my cars fuel eating habits. ever since ive had the new upgrades, i would be lucky to get say about 220kms from a full tank...... i have noticed that it spits out a little black smoke when you give it a hit as in high in the rev range, but i just figured it is running a little rich. there is also a petrol smell, also it back fires a lot more..... ok im just wondering peoples thoughts on this, and if i should invest in another tune, any ideas on how much a small and simple tune like that would cost???? cheers Mass

yeh i agree, sounds a little weird how its a cat for an R33 and it dont fit straight in!!!!! then again maybe you dont have the standard cat/exhaust system on your car. but either way try and get a refund, otherwise id say sell it and get one from BATMBL here on the forum.

i agree, a little more info as to how much power you have or will have? i have about 240+rwkw, and im using an exedy heavy duty clutch, it seems to hold well though when it goes im gonna go for a ceramic button kit, say a 6 puk.

going of the photo from the tokyo motor show, i think the car looks awesome, and yeh the windows are dark, but hey its a prototype, it doesnt quiet have to be road legal!!! i think they could have done better..
