  1. Well, I must admit, after re-looking and re-looking at this thread and the pics of the 2 styles, I really do like the RS260 style, looks very menancing and suits the car very well. Me lik-e very much! If my Stagea had no bodykit that'd be the one Id go for. But, Ive got the Dayz on the car, and for that Im glad as it means I dont need to spend a grand on that part of the car. Fact is though, the Dayz looks SO MUCH better in the flesh, photos of the kit (on my car!) dont do it justice. Its very mild without the shock value of the RS260 style. But I definately reckon if you're going to go with the 260 option make sure your go is as good as your show! Ive put a heap of new pics on my gallery yesterday (albeit with a smudge mark on every one), so check them out, with the closeups of the Dayz bodykit. Looks awesome in the flesh - yesterday I parked the car on the lawn just so I could look at it everytime I wen past my windows!!!!@@!
  2. I get an amazing amout of 'sideways' glances at the lights... people checking out the car but not wanting to be caught checking out the car! Only a couple of people have known what the car actually is, either they were Jap car lovers or Playstation 2 gran-turismo fanatics
  3. Got a 'Hybrid' 2-stage boost controller in my 'coin box' near the stearing wheel, for ease of adjustment (not that I ever have). Cant comment on lag though, Im no expert.
  4. Yup, will be doing a fuel pump... but not a 2nd hand unit (the workshop talked me out of that, with good reasoning such as "if the GTR had it replaced, ask yourself why"). Probably grab a Bosch 040 or 044. Oil cooler will definately happen, once I go to MV Autos for the 'shift kit' acctuator valve body. That'll happen soon enough....
  5. Just going by memory, I'll have to re-read the manual. But Im sure I read that snow mode adjusts the drive thru the 4wheels at low speeds when cornering.......
  6. Yah, the snow mode regulates & constantly adjusts the power and drive thru the 4wheels when cornering at lowish speeds (ie roundabouts).
  7. Grab the SAFC-2 off ebay, for under $400 brand new. Cant go wrong with the Apexi...............
  8. Well, just filled up. 1st FULL tank Ive used since the dynotune service with new O2 sensor. 55.8L filled it right up to max, and did 391.5km for that tank. The fuel gauge light was just starting to flicker. That equals exactly 7kms per litre, or 14.3L per 100kms. And I was certainly using 'boost' during this 391kms!
  9. Excellent feedback, cheers Ska. Ive read a list of mods on your Stagea, so was intrigued to see what you thought of them. I'll keep my Paypal account closed for now then! Well, I got an Apexi 'Hybrid' fmic from ebay Japan (good for 400hp), with the C-bend style end tank so that the pipe comes back behind the 'cooler and into the standard holes. Costing me $500 courier delivered (so I'll be selling the R34 'cooler in around 6 weeks), but looks to be in very good condition. Add on to the Stagea the Neo turbo/actuator & Z32afm Ive picked up from forum members, and we should be laughing once its all dialled in on the new SITC and SAFC (both off ebay). Its a good way to buy (off these forums & from ebay) but its also good to know if what you're buying will be of benefit (jury's out at the moment on the fmic with custom pipes, but we'll see...............) Brendan
  10. Splitfires; Are they worth the cash? Im in the middle of doing boost modifications (get my Apexi 'cooler & RB25 Neo turbo in the next fortnight), so should I be spending decent wadfuls of greenbacks to do the leads also (also considering Ive got an Apexi SITC ready to go on). Opinions? Ive got 8k to go on the stage, but 5k has already been gobbled up! Cheers, Brendan
  11. Mate, what a comment; Id suggest its exactly what most of us Stagea owners think. They are excellent cars, extremely versatile with performance to boot. Love the comments and the eye raising looks the car gets, generally 90% of the population don't know what a Stagea is. All the more pity to them............... I personally would have liked the R34 tiptronic (I can see it becoming very popular over time), but saved 8k by buying this Series 1. Its a great car, and that 8k is going straight into general performance-orientated modifications.
