  5. its a vh45des: nissan's 4.5 litre v8 dual ovc and he supercharged it you have to chuck it on the dyno don ur r31 has to be one of the meanest non turbo r31's with 'original' engine in aus (i no that the r31 skyline club has a pretty mean list, but a lot of them are engine swaps, but ur is unique which makes it cool http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?topic=133.0 - fastest r31 1/4 mile times - notice don is second in na r31's)
  6. yeah stroker looks way cool boring and stroking or just stroking big money for that if u need custom crank i would imagine you would be starting with a rb26dett engine and stroking it with a rb30 crank and boring it with custom pistons??
  7. yes i no a stanza is not a skyline but it comes from the same family so... anyway a while back a mate of mine bought a dato stanza rally car stanza body 240k suspension SSS bluebird engine (L20B engine), 5speed tranny and diff full roll cage two four point racing seats rally tyres handles extremely well and was pretty quick plans are for a bigger carby (sidedraught i believe - needs a custom mounting made up) running really shit at the moment (new clutch but thrust bearing mounted funny and stuffed master cylinder) here are some pics and yes in the background of the first one is a red 120y coupe (not a bad little car specially now with extrators and a 2 inch zorst - with flamer kit for looks to come and a dukes of hazzard air horn!!!! )
  8. mate of bought a datsun stanza rally car with 240k everything in it (in terms of suspension), full rollcage, sss bluebird engine, sss bluebird 5 speed tranny and diff handles like a, well, a rally car

  11. ohh really??? my top speed is....... 161km/h but with 4 people in the car going down a slight hill but she was starting to hit rev limiter and it didnt sound too good revving like a motorbike
  12. yep highly illegal as each tyre is slightly different they might be different brand but have the same looking tread, size, feel etc but molecularly they will be different and could cause some very big problems ie blowing premeturly becasue of diff wear patterns, loss of control when wet as each tyre has diff wet handling abilities, increse crash risk as each tyre will skid diff aswell - increasing the risk of death and severe injury just to name a few
  13. me old man wants to get a awd ghia territory just gotta make him hold out for a while till they release this one mmmmm very very nice
  14. yep - i would agree with blind_elk on that one those to screws are to fine tune if u opened one right up to get it too fire then ur dizzy shaft is out and becasue it fired after turning it all the way out then i would imagine it was only one tooth out
  15. sorry it would have been a '96 er33 gts25 it was a special edition something like that anyway it has some m-spec parts on it i think so....
  16. umm i dont think the 94-95 r33gts25's had rb25de's i think they were just rb25e's if u want twin cam get late 95 (build date around 11/95) or above that is if im correct i no one of my frendz sisters got a '96 r33 gts25t (which wasnt a 25t, just a gts m-spec (did the gts ever come out in m-spec?) with a gts25t sticker on it) in WA for around 15 if i remeber rightly (maybe even more) very very nice car - very clean inside and out - looks really good
  17. stupidity is what it has come down to just last year (i think) a guy broke into a house as he was getting out he slipped on the lino and busted is leg/ankle he took the owners of the house to court AND WON FOR SHITS SAKE how stupid is that ..............

  24. i know u might think, another commodore bag is it just me or is it that p-plater commo drivers think they have shit hot cars and shit hot car control skills? i saw today a typical example: i was driving south on ranford road, stopped at lights near gosnells golf course vt commo driver was turning south onto ranford road turned the corner and absolutely booted it course the back end went sideways and he must have thought himself really really really cool anyway he attempted to bring it back in a forwards direction except he just bout lost it going back the other way no control over car whatsoever to me he was a dick head the back end moved as jerky as a drunk on crystal meth - it didnt even look classy it may have looked alright if he had sent the back sideways and then calmly and coolely swung it round the other way and kept it going for a while but no..... now i would have liked to see that done by a skyline driver...but, alas, no one was in the vicinity to show the tossa how it was done properly sigh
