how this... a chick that goes to my church bought a 1996 r33 gts25t coupe good condition looks awesome (has a diff nissan bumper on - not the standard one) she reckons that it is a limited edition one and that it is non-turbo but it has a rb25det in it does it not but any way im pissed off cause that the car THAT I WANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what sort of zorst does it come standard with cause this one didn't sound standard - it had a healthy rumble to it
-
ill think ull find that the gts-t doesn't have cv joints cause its not awd it is only rear - to the best of my knowledge anyway
-
step one: sell r32 step two: buy good condition r31 step three: do rb20det engine conversion step four: whack in say a GT35/40 turbo huge intercooler etc do some body work and u will still be cheaper of probably and u will have a car that looks almost like stock and goes like stink!!! and then u beat those commowhores and laugh at them - really loud!!! sarcasm is hard to portray!! but seriously stick with the r32 and maybe drop in a rb25 and ur car will beat commowhores easily

i got a question the other day from a guy at work that i couldn't answer properly what does the D stand for in the engine classifications ie rb26dett, rb25de etc. i always thought that it meant dual overhead cams but he thought it stood for direct or something like that (ie rb25de - 2.5 litre direct injection) now im not sure can somebody please clarify this 4 me please

ummm r31 skyline maybe (doubt it very much) but anything really is fine - r32 is cool
-
do u reckon that u could make some that are 125x125 pixels cause then i can use it in my avatar!! - with ur permission of course!
-
mmm interesing concept actually looks rather good if i had a spare 33 around...well...
-
mmmm niceeeee! i wish i had married that girl hahaha
-
not a bad effort actually - it is very hard to change colours when there is a lot of light change and a changing background - not a bad effort for first go

umm its a habit of mine to suck sh$t out my a$$ and bullsh$t really well i'll give it a better go The r33 has an overall length of 4405mm while the WRX has an overall length of 4675mm and in apearance u can see that the WRX looks stubbier than the r33 because it is stubbier it tends to squat down on all fours (if u no what i mean - it drops it guts rather than its ass) while the r33 tends to drop its ass a bit more this means that the r33 gets a good launch - but the WRX has the advantage of having it take of with all wheels better (the front would slip a little easier on the 33 than the WRX) BUT...because i hane't driven either of them - i cant really tell from experience ohh - this is also deduced from seeing WRX's and r33's at the drags and the different ways they take off look - i may ave also just f$$ked this up gloriously and got it all wrong - but thats just me!!

just 4 interest sake www.jbskyline.net/R33/GTR/Specs says that an r33 GTR with the RB26DETT does the 1/4 mile in 14.0 at 104mph while http://motortrend.com/roadtests/sedan/112_...sub/index2.html says that an '04 subaru wrx sti with the 2.5L flat4 turbo DOHC does the 1/4mile in 13.23 @ 104.6mph i think that the WRX eats the r33 on the 1/4mile - until the power of the RB kicks in and the r33 flys past the WRX and eats it in turn - hahaha the thought of that is pretty funny
-
hmmmmmm id go the r33 cause i like skylines - duh! but i reckon for like track stuff - or some serious drifting maybe the rex would be good especially as has been said - they handle awesome in the wet and dry they are very quick and very nimble its because they are slightly lighter and have a shorter wheel base meaning there tends to be a less of a reduction in power @ the rear wheels and all 4 wheels tend to bog down when accelerated hard - unlike a r33 which has a longer wheel base and the back bogs down more than the front

welcome man treat her like u would ur gf: trash the shit of teh beast!!! na - only jokin man if ur also interested www.r31skylineclub.com good site how many kay's on the clock does she ave a good diff and gbox? - the most important things in a r31 (the engine can be thrashed to shit before it gives out so i wouldn't worry about that just yet - just watch out for a weak diff and gbox)

based on other threads on this subject (u should really do a search for this stuff first cause there is usually a thread or two that is usually relevant) - it could be the BOV that is the cause - that it is not releasing enough back pressure and the wastegate cant cope with the load and it backfires it might need adjusting either that or the zorst is the cause of the prob - though i doubt it ask the previous owner - or the dealer - about it (depends who u got it through of course) and NO i am not an expert - considering that i dont drive a turbo skyline (bugger) but it is what i have deduced and what makes sense 2 me

Tyres you use(d) and how u would rate them
342Four replied to ZigenGT's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Sumitomo HTR200's 195/70R14 all round Dry: 6/10 Wet: 3/10 $: n/a didn't pay for them (my folks did cause not really my car) doesn't repond well in the wet when power is put down - wheel spins very easily fairly decent grip in the dry though -
if anything the VL turbo pump will be better for it because it is a higher flow pump and there cheap as to get anyway (cheap...well, relative to the nissan ones)
