  3. its the rubber hose that connects to the big black pipe (coming from under the airbox) that the arrow is pointing to...
  4. ya i found a restrictor in the hose that connects to the intake pipe... its a little gold thing inside the pipe... you can feel it inside the hose its the black rubber pipe that connects to the T piece and to the intake pipe... if anyone can upload a pic of your engine bay i can circle it for ya..

  11. ok well... worked it out good ol ns.com anyways if anyone ever needs to know... A goes to the intake.. B to the wastegate and C is a bleeder thingy...
  12. ok made it easier again... the pic below is sposed to be the solenoid... im under the impression A connects to the intake... B connects to the wastegate.. and C connects to the unit... i hooked it up and it was to wet to test her properly but the car still ran fine.. but i did notice no air was coming out of C ??? whoever can check theres and let me know how to hook it up... you will win something from the mystery box!!!!

  14. oh yeah.. also with the solenoid... the one side has a nipple thingy coming off it.. and then the other side also has one and a smaller one.. the smaller one is obviously to goto the unit.. but which one goes to the wastegate etc ?

  16. hmm... my gearbox is 10 years old... seems to be in good condition.. doesnt seem to make any crunching or wierd noises.... what oil do you recommend i slap in it ?? I was all set to get the redline until i read the last few posts...

  18. ive got xforce turbobak exhaust for my r33.. works quite well a) sounds pretty cool.. not to loud and not to soft b) added about 20kw (or woteva they normaly add) could tell a huge differance straight away after installing it. c) doesnt hang very low at all.. pretty much the same as stock.. its a great little kit... i think the only reason some ppl dont like it is cause its made in china instead of japan.... You can come check it out on my car if u like.. but ya mines a r33 so im assuming my info is somewhat relevant

  22. anyone got any pics of where the 2 bolts are on a r33 ? i had a look at mine.. and i can see the square bolt thingy that sits in the middle.. but i cant seem to find the other one.. ??
  23. i had the same kinda thing on my r33 recently.. once the car was pretty hot the gauge would randomly show it at 1psi for a while.. i soaked the electrical connector on the back of the oil sender in contact cleaner and it hasnt stuffed up since.. I think in my case though i had spilt heaps of oil on it when i took the oil filter off last time

  25. hey ppls i've got a autometer boost gauge.. its been working alrite for the past 9 months or so.. anyways so today i was mounting it into a pod thingy... and i noticed when i turn the car off instead of it sitting at 0 psi... it now sits on 3psi... Its functioning correctly and show me the right amount of boost etc its just when its turned off it seems to now sit on 3 instead of 0... also previously when i turned the car off it would take like 1 sec to get from say negative boost to 0psi.. but now when i turn it off it takes a few seconds to slowly more upto to 3psi... I dont wana get a new gauge cause like i said its fine when the car is switched and driving so its performing its purpose.. just when the car is off it seems incorrect anyone have any ideas on what it could be.. i've taken the boost line out of it and it still seems to sit on 3 psi... thanks ppls
