What you said in your 2nd sentence is pretty much spot on. Thats why I bought one. I've added links from my research in previous threads over the past couple of years so a search may bring them up as this has been asked before. Also want to mention the GT-X also comes in a turbo. Alot of people don't know this.

I have one with snorkel however one of the locating holes for a screw to secure it in place has been snapped as I suspect the workshop just ripped it out and didn't look for the last screw.

don't feel so bad. if your car is standard looking or close to it in a mass produced colour then it's less likely to have its picture taken. like mine for example.

didn't want to start another new thread on a worn out topic so i thought i'd re-use this one i've just had a new intake and full exhaust put on my car. picked it up this morning from my mate after i've come back from a weeks holiday. driving the car home 20mins has left my head feeling numb and ears ringing from the loudness and the drone. the full exhaust comprising of HPC Coby's, high flow cat, custom mandrel SS 2.5" exhaust, oval muffler with twin tips for factory look. I'm seriously regretting it at the moment and want my factory exhaust back on. it's been suggested to me to put an oval resonator in but i'm not sure if that alone will be enough to quieten the noise and remove the drone. i'm also thinking a new muffler as well. so i seeking some help from those who have actually had this dilemma and what did you do to fix it? Reggie.
