  1. Hi guys and girls, As you probably know im trying to sell my car and its been on the market for a while now and I was just wondering what you were all looking for when you bought your car? Was its low kms / appearance / no crash history / had to have an 8 in the rego number? What was the shopping list of must haves? For me well it had to be black, kitted, i was a bit of an ricer back then so appearance kinda ruled over all.
  2. That $%# Ball!! Sure you don't want to adopt him Ossie - he's all yours hun!

  9. Yay Lotus notes does suck!
  10. awww thanks kids - i feel loved. Sorry work has banned us from the "computer" so i havent been on the past couple of days - been so busy anyway. Awwww i love you guys too - thanks for the best wishes. Yes i do feel older - 23 geez .... almost time to retire and be a kept woman Hugs
  11. Last years turnout was fairly big - i remember being in a huge queue to get into the pits ..... then having a huge queue again for scrutineering. Maybe now this hasn't been affliated with CABIN its not getting as much exposure or something? I haven't seen any advertising.
  12. I normally race in this event and have really enjoyed it ..... not out to win any trophies ..... its just pure fun for me and i really miss it. But unfortunately now i have a job where im expected to work saturdays. Also - my car will be up for sale in a couple of weeks so I don't really want to thrash it. There's a lot of skylines off the road at the moment that usually compete in this kind of stuff ..... we are all itching to get back into it ..... especially me with my new baby ...... a 350Z Won't happen overnight but it will happen.
  13. Airbag suspension is cool - Going to spend $80K and want airbag suspension - buy the Toyota Prado Grande. Least you'll have some resale value at hte end of the day - and they have a motor built to do a million kilometres. Anyways back to the question .... its simple...... why do you pay big bucks for versace? why do you pay big bucks to buy a house in a fancy suburb? etc etc etc Its all about a name and reputation. A business can build up those two things along with a demand ....... then they can charge more than their competitors and still get clientelle.
  14. My parents bought me my first and second car .... i am an only child though and they are hardly struggling financially. Its not something i expected out of them - for them its something they wanted to do as a reward on making them proud. Them doing this hasn't made me into an unappreciative slacker. I work very hard - 6 days a week almost 60 hours a week. I love and look after my cars that they bought me. I realise i was spoilt and i know i'm lucky. As for when it comes time for my own kids ...... yes ..... if i was in a financial position to be able to buy them or help them out on their first cars - for sure. I'd rather them be spoilt and driving around in a safe vehicle than to have an absolute unroadworthy bunky cos its all they can afford.
  15. And I need one for an Auto Series 1 Sorry Nate - thought if we combine our enquiries there would be less congestion! PM or email me nizmo@inbox.com

  22. knicker bocker knicker bocker number 9 .... he likes to dancve and keep in time No lets get with the rhyme of the hips Now we've got with the rhythm of the hips Thats all my input into this thread.
  23. On the TV last night I saw an advet saying "Classic Car Show Whiteman Park Sunday the 19th March" - I've sms'd Liz to let her know. My parents used to drag me to this when I was a teenybopper .... and it gets quite busy as there's about 20 different clubs that particpate ... so unfortunately Whiteman Park is no longer an option.
