ill get some pics asap, but you wont be able to see the wear on the cap, i cant see it by eye but can just feel it. Can i just replace it with a new or second hand one? even if i do file it off i cant get the fkn bolt out still.

Hi everyone, i just finished putting a new head gasket on my RB25 and have run into a bitch of a problem. Ill just explain what i have done so we're all on the same wavelength As i was bolting the exhaust cam back into place i found that one of the caps/bridges has the bolt locked in it some how. Its the E7 cap which is the very back one on the exhaust side. I have tried EVERYTHING to get the f**ker out with no luck, ive tried WD40, silicone spray, that freeze spray stuff and no luck. Then i tried putting it in a vice and tapping the bolt out. (by this stage i was pissed off and not thinking straight) By doing this it has scored the edge of the cap and is now un-usable. My question is, i have heard that each cap HAS to go back in the same spot in the same direction as they kinda bed in with the cam and if put back on incorrectly can seize the cam. What can i do? can i just buy one off another RB25 and use that? Please help, this is the only thing preventing me from getting the motor in the car and running!!! . . . until i run into more problems of course :S Cheers

Hey guys, im in the process of pulling the head off mt rb25 to put a metal gasket on. i believe that there is a certain amount of torque in which the bolts need tighten. I have also heard that there is a sequence to follow when tightening. Could someone please inform me of this?...... Cheers

Hey guys, as the title says, im having trouble fitting a 3071 to my rb25 cause its hitting the exhaust manifold. Now i believe i can use a spacer on the flange to overcome this which is what i planning on doing....BUT... to get a thick enough spacer it leaves me no room to put bolts on because the the bolts on the manifold are too short..... Im sure people have fitted one of these turbos to an rb25, how'd you do it? Should i somehow extend the bolts on the manifold and if so, how? Cheers.

I actually won david jones vouchers and want to turn them into cash as i want to do an rb25 conversion. i figured PS3 would be easy to sell so i have one on order as they sold out and a new model is being released which ill be picking up this week OR i am after an RB25 so i will trade PS3 +cash your way for either RB25 and/or RB25 gearbox.....

Oh, and just for the record, please post a contact email/name/number for the ps3 with 2 games and 2 controllers for $699 so the people that are after one can go get it from them and not get "ripped off to the max"!!!!!!!! Mine is brand new, ill even provide a purchase receipt for $950 so piss off and pay your $699 for for the smaller hard drive version, and enjoy paying $240 for 2 games! plus an extra controller. by my calculations that is well in excess of $950+ ........ $850 is cheaper mate! hey mate, what diameter is the exhaust? looks like it'll be running with no muffler, correct?

Its a 92 model gtst. It has a 93 model ecu though. Originally i had a remap but i sold that as i didnt like the tune. Nor do i like remap. So now its a 92 model with a 93 model ecu. Has anyone got a photo of their engine bay that can show me where exactly it is. i know im looking in the correct spot but just to be sure. Cheers
