We may well end up at Crown (as usual) on Friday night during 'drinks'.. we always end up there for some unknown reason... but it's definately NOT for the clubs!

I think you mean before not after, if your front tyres are over the line I believe its not classed as running a red. AFAIK only the fronts need to be 'in' the intersection to avoid a fine. That speed/red light camera at Smith st flashes at least 3 people everytime I've ever sat at that intersection.. it seems like the most unlikely place to have an accident, can't say I've ever seen one there.. where's this supposed blackspot? It would be much better if everyone had to upgrade their brakes or some such rather than this 40km/hr crap.

What do you guys think of the length/width etc of the eyelids? Personally, I think they could be maybe an inch at most longer down the front of the headlight.. what do you guys think? Too 'sleepy' looking & covering up too much light or the longer the better? ~Kaz

Hi! Books are $60 plus postage or you can pick up from Sth Melb on a Tue/Thur/Fri if it's easier. Basically they do one print run every year and the current books are valid until june 2006. I'm told the current books will probably be sold out within the next couple of weeks, so although I do have some left at present, just try to get in as early as possible. I can also get books for other states but I have none on hand and need to order them as required, and again they will also sell out shortly. It's no sale ploy either, they do sell out, I myself missed out on a book a couple of years ago. Anyway let me know if you're interested Cheers!

But surely if you only wash with water the dirt on the car will scratch up your paint (assuming you still use a sponge to get off marks/bird crap). I would think using a high sud soap would lubricate the dirt to some degree to avoid scratching. I'm no expert though, just asking I've used one of the gold class? liquid polish's made by meguiars and it did crap all, won't be using it again.. still looking for a nice wax to use...

Well I have the new book here and I just made my money back! Confirmed our weekend car hire for when we go away in a few months.. saved $80!! w00t I have 3 books left at this point (other than those pending payment), hopefully I can still order some more after this lot (they sell out every year & very quickly unfortunately). I'm sure anyone else who buys these books can confirm that. No guarantees there will or won't be books available. So.. first in - best dressed!!

Actually if anyone has any r34 boots, I don't have a set of them you'd have to be willing to go bootless for a few days tho I don't know if there's much demand for 34 boots though, except for colour changes..? I would think they'd mostly still be in good condition.

I live near Epping and I still got mine tuned there!! I don't mind travelling for quality.. too many pothead/d***head tuners/workshops out there these days, I don't know how they stay in business, what with the *breaking peoples cars* and such things. Ben, however, all good!! Cars running heaps better & he did a very professional job No f***in around & no overcharging..

I make them, however the old brake boot (from a 33) I was given to copy isn't a factory standard and it's definately not the right size... Anyway, got it sorted, thanks!!
