  2. lol whats the power<>weight for p platers? (wouldnt have a clue personally!) Ruffels whereabouts are you? Didn't know you are a northie.. You'll have to join one of our poker nights or come to an NS meet (majority/regs are really nice, no twats).
  3. Indeed its the Canary State (should be the VIC emblem). We don't go out on a Sat caus we make everyone come here
  4. Slack as, Kelly! Just stick your leg out on the freeway and hitch a ride (just watch out for passing trucks)..
  5. lol you drinking already troy?
  6. i have babysitter goodness! Will attempt to make it there and try to drag 46n2 & Chris along
  7. most if not all of the western ring rd cameras are out of action currently but I have seen engineers looking at them recently around the Boundary Rd exits, so probably won't be long til they are fixed.
  8. could have a cracked head?.. how longs this been going on for?
  9. Check your fuses? http://www.skylinegts.co.uk/R32-Fuses.htm
  10. Indeed its something like a 10k fine for no cat.. A gutted cat is awesome.. I think the biggest disadvantage is possibly melting the rear bumper
  11. http://www.skylinegts.co.uk/R32-Fuses.htm try that?
  12. "Think i might just take my business else where with those prices on labour pricing hes charging me. im not a female where i can easily be ripped off for the mech to make a quick buck himself." Excuse moi!? I'm a chick and I can change basically all ignition incl alternator, plugs, leads, rotor, cap etc myself (self taught!) and do all my own servicing (if only my car was higher/boobs fit under) and whatever else. Theres certainly alot I've yet to learn but I can do quite enough. What can *you* do!? And you know, u can do all you mentioned without a hoist. Alot of workshops will charge you an extra 10-20% on parts and even I know paying more than $25 for a fuel filter is just ridiculous. Soooo I think you owe us SAU women an apology Anyway beware of putting all your trust in a workshop you've never used before. There are plenty of them out there that will charge you for plugs/coolant etc that they never even changed. Its happened to all of us at some point or another. I also know several people that have taken their cars to a workshop and ended up having it there for 3months+ because they are so incompetent and/or make further damage. Also some are known to steal parts off cars or out of boots. Be real wary.. try to wait around & watch them do the service or get a buddy to help you at home. Cheers Kaz
  13. I'm quite annoyed (was *really* looking forward to it gdamnit) but 46n2's aunt decided to get freakin married on the same night.. doesn't she know the SAU dinner is on!! So I guess we're out & revoke previous statement that we will attend :< Maybe we will be able to skip out at some point later in the evening and track down where you all are... but I think thats the best we can do :~( Hopefully they'll split up & call it off?! hehe.. one can only hope ~Kaz
  14. You can't delete old posts, that's annoying.. Unlike the rest of you whores I like to keep my post count small & recent I like deleting old posts from the spotted thread also, so its harder for any random person to keep track of my usual whereabouts etc etc but still be able to identity people I pass.. Tiny text is slowly sending me blind.. and I'll second that whinge, I want my 180 back, stuff this rb25 crap! I was happy with the old forums.. why the change?
  15. Try T&H Wreckers in Campbellfield off the Hume Hwy nearish Mahoneys Rd.. (03) 9357-1435 Can't remember what street they're on but they have heaps of import parts
  16. I have ONE Melbourne book left and thats it, let me know if you want to take it off my hands. Cheers!
  17. standard on 180s as well
  18. yes yes, but but!.... I was referring to this: "At the moment the committee is woking out the best package with consideration to......... the number of people who are interested." You should sell official SAU event tickets once you sort it out Oh and can I vote for a buffet.. there's nothing worse than deciding between sheeps b4lls or cow liver for dinner.. You can RSVP myself & 46n2 Cheers all!
  19. Possibly you could put a 'won't be able to make it' button.. ? Also how will you gauge how many are interested in attending if you don't have an option of "plus one/partner" etc..? Just trying to be helpful Cheers ~Kaz
  20. ECR033: Shannons are good if you're 25 or over (or near enough to).. but if you're under 25 they're usually about double a Just Car quote.. Shannons also have lifetime guarantee on repairs and choice of repairer whereas Just Car repairs are only guaranteed for 3 years and you can only choose your repairer if they can beat/match the quote you got from wherever Just Car sends you to (or something like that). Also there's something different with the 'claims'.. I think with Shannons you can claim more than once a year.. can't remember, someone else could confirm
  21. it ought to come out of their pocket! Well if you feel up to alcamahole on the weekend to forget your troubles, or.. horseriding.. or lifting heavy things.. (joking) Evas at mums, lemme know
  22. I think you guys just need a blonde driving wig.. I never get bothered Well not as yet anyhow.. it'll come eventually..
  23. doh! G/L Ash Q: Do they check interior (dash/under dash/glovebox/any other hidey places) for A/F type mods?
  24. Due to being a slacker and not having time to return the last books before going interstate... I *still* have a couple of books left! If anyone else is STILL wanting one, last chance, I'm taking them back end of this week or maybe early next week. You can reserve a copy til next week if you have no $$ but let me know asap or it will be too late.. credit card payments are OK. Books are valid til end of June 2006. Cheers!~ Kaz
