Hahahaha.... That is one of the more stupid things I've heard. I'm not sure if you are serious or are an aspiring stand-up comic genius! You'd be good at the latter. Mate, ECU's do NOT make power. The tuning of an ECU does that. If you have say, 2 x 200HP cars. Both identical. If you install a Microtech to one and a P-FC to the other, neither will make more power than each other. I'm sure good P-FC tuners will be able to tune an ECU to make the same power as a similiar car with a Microtech. Also, you may of had such a large gain, but the person you stated that only had the 31rwkw gain with the P-FC probably got much better economy and ran a safer tune. I would go the P-FC, simply because most tuners are more familiar with them when it comes to Nissan performance cars. Another advantage of the P-FC is the knock sensor, could come in handy one day, y'know... Anyway, I hope you make a good choice, no matter what ECU you choose. Good luck

RB25DET should drop straight into an R33, yes.

Nice ride GUN-R32. Congratulations. I've seen many R32 GTR interiors on many different Aussie importing websites etc.. That is seriously one of the cleanest interiors I have ever seen in a 32 GTR. Make sure ya keep it that way!

Umm I've seen an RB25DET NEO for sale on this forum for 3000. Whole package apart from loom, which is like 350 max from wreckers. I've seen an SR20DET including everything for 1400 on a forum. You could just buy an RB25DET and find someone who knows how to do the job and get mates rates. If not see the quote on RB25DET into 180SX. RB20 is not worth it.

I got TAFE on Friday so if you can find out the actual name of the paint, I can possibly get my lecturer to enter the paint name in the computer and it'll bring up paint code and tell us what we need to do to make the paint.

I'm not planning on doing spray painting as a trade. It's part of a course which involves 10-11weeks of automotive spray painting, mechanical/electrical and panel beating (thats 10-11wks on each trade)... Panel beating.. I can fix drift damage? lol

I'm doing spray painting at TAFE(Automotive) at the moment. It's good to know how to do it. The lecturer guy was painting someones mercedes. He said the TAFE is doing it for around 4-5k but if you wanted it done anywhere else around 7.5k+. That was for a stock white. Looks like labour is a huge factor in the prices.
