Did this happen in Wangara ? My mate saw an almost identical incident in Wangara ( unless this was it ).. I feel for the bloke, both owner and the driver. Shame about the car, but good if the guy is OK. Anyway - I hear that if you have ANY modifications your insurance company isn't aware of, you aren't covered, period.

Mikey, I've seen DR30's with immaculate paint (still stock colour) for around 5k. Sure, it could have a few problems but if the original paint is that good, it goes to show the quality of a car. FJ20 is the founder of nissan 2ltr turbos really.. And it's a bulletproof beast to boot. DR30 FTW!

But you take inspiration from other houses etc and you could mess it up.. My mate works on timber roofing all day long for Scott Park, I'd recommend Scott Park, as I been around Ashby lately which is mostly them. Don't buy now. It's the worst time ever. Our value has more than doubled..

It's turbo though... I think the whole turbo craze has finally hit the world.. I mean now that apparantley the accent and focus etc are all going turbo.. As for the MPS my friend took one for a spirited drive and says its a great car. The best thing is being turbo, extra power is easy to come by.. Exhaust, pod, turbo.. Won't be running out of puff anymore will it.. And just to stir things up a little.. The New Lexus Anyone..

Dee 33, With all respect we know theres more to a fuel than the power figures it puts out.. And yes, BP handle all the fuels. But Ultimate is made to their own, I believe they won't sell it to any other companies, hence why everyone else uses additives to regular premium. As Johhny said, Ultimate is Ultimate.

This has actually be covered before... The story is that BP Ultimate achieves its 98 Octane rating by refinement etc.. Other '98 Octane' fuels actually use additives to get a 98 Octane rating. This also means anything other than BP Ultimate will go off very fast because of all the additives, whereas Ultimate will last a lot longer. For those of you that didn't know this, something to consider. I myself would NEVER put any other 98 in other than Ultimate unless I was like stranded and running on empty.

The CRX is a great little N/A car. With a few simple modifications to extract power they are light and have a bit of go. Something like a 180SX / S13 with a CA18DET has cheaper insurance than you may think (3rd Party). A friend of mine pays $400 a year for his. Depending on what you want you could always build up a fast car, sacrificing babe-pulling looks. (Not that a Paseo will). Perhaps a Datsun 1600 with CA18DET or SR20DET? Bluebird TR-X with SR20DET? S13 or 180SX suspension can be grafted onto these cars. The 1600 has the advantage of IRS, whereas only the import-spec Bluebirds have this. And are you looking at full comprehension insurance or 3rd Party fire and theft? It would also be a good idea to factor in that buying a previously modified car would save huge $$$ over buying and modifying a stock car yourself.
