  1. Hey, the turbo was very nice to drive on the street, response was very good considering the size, alot of the response I had might of been due to the heavily counter balanced crank I put in, could drive around town without getting onto boost, but put the foot down and she would just take off. The reason I am selling this is because I have recently purchased a r33 gtr n1 track car and have pulled the built motor out of my r32 gtr and installed it into the r33 minus the turbo setup, and decided to use the n1 turbos for their response/tourqe curve.
  2. Selling the turbo setup off my motor as I have gone back to a twin turbo setup. The parts are in excellent condition. Turbo setup was tuned for 17psi so its had a very easy life so far. This setup would suit a R32 GTR as the exhaust system wont fit a 33 or 34. the setup includes: Trust/Greddy T78 33D Turbo rated at 720ps (I made 470awhp on 17psi) the highest boost it has seen is 19psi on a dyno run, left at 17psi Trust/Greddy stainless steel exhaust manifold Trust/Greddy external waste gate with screamer pipe Trust/Greddy heatshield Trust/Greddy compression tube Trust/Greddy Power Evolution II cat back system Custom dump/front pipe with new heat wrap freshly applied Apexi power intake 80mm air filters Z32 air flow meters various fittings and lines for water/oil/vacuum Im after $6000 o.n.o and located in Brisbane. please PM me on here or more info or detailed pics, thanks
  3. thanks guys for all of the responses, I have found most of the parts, and now just chasing the rest. thanks.
  4. I'm chasing a few parts to clean/tidy up the race car. - Series 1 or 2 R33 GTR Head Lights - Series 1,2,3 R33 GTR Front Bar - R33 GTR G Sensor - R33 GTR Loom under the dash from Passenger side across to the Fuse Box - Centre Console Surround that also goes around the front of the dash cluster - Centre Box and Handbrake Surround and Boot - Gear Shifter Surround and Boot with Ashtray - Driver's Side Power Window Controls - Passenger side door pin (stops the door from shutting on its own) - R33 Tail Lights would prefer Brisbane pickup/local post, but will consider interstate. thanks.

  6. definatly interested in this! put me down as a possible please, it all depends if I can get the 33 ready and running by then, even for just a testing session.
  7. cheers guys. I have been able to find a few new plugs , c.a.s, throttle position cable and all the injector plugs, I will probably still need to get is water and air temp and the coil pack loom male plug and I should be set.
  8. Jon has done some plastic welding for me, can vouch for the quality of the work and welding, absolute mint job, I love it, he customized the centre console on my 32, I wanted it all to look factory and neat, welded up the centre to fit 4 gauges and fitted the heater controls down where the ashtray once was, will definatly get work done to the 33 by Jon.
  9. Doing a new loom for my race car and a few of the plugs are old/cracked/shit, trying to find a place to get as many as I can. I am mainly after crank angle sensor plug, coil pack loom plug, sard injector plugs, air temp and water temp plugs. I've tried Automotive Service Solutions / Petroject, Motec, Repco, Autobarn, and a few auto electricians but to no avail. any one know of a place that sells these? would rather not buy a whole new loom from Nissan as I would then just hack it up. thanks
  10. thanks for that. thinking the car might be a N1, so the last two might be something to do with that...
  11. could I please get some help on my model codes for the 33 gtr, I'm trying to find out what exactly the car is and what it came with from factory my model code is GGJPRQFR33ZDA----- So far I have got: G - 2 door GJ - RB26DETT P - ????? 4WD R - ????? Q - GTR F - 5 speed manual ? R33 - Model Z - ???? D - ???? A - ???? thanks.
  12. that was the other orange car in the team, as seen in "Love the beast!" it just skidded on its lid, no major damage, it was repaired perfectly and is doing targa again. Planning on using it for tarmac rallies and abit of circuit.
  13. The new toy: needs afew things cleaned up and replaced, but should be another fun project
  14. The old motor blew up, and the previous owner bought another motor as replacement, but had the R34 sump on it with the wrong ratio. The car is nearly done, new exhaust was put in yesterday and its is getting tuned on either monday or tuesday, few more little bits and pieces to do and then its off to Tas.
  15. I also heard the 280zx had some form of Holden V8 under the bonnet?
  16. Was good to catch up and see some old faces that haven’t seen for awhile and there was some nice cars out there both locally and interstate. nice to meet you Noddy, I can't remember if I introduced myself on Sunday? talked to you about your new bottom end and sounds like she will be ever quicker and to call John Siddons an old man and to go back to polishing his exhaust pipe is a big call there mate.... I respect John as a very accomplished and successful driver and a very nice guy, if he says you were driving in a unsafe manner then I would believe him, I also have seen video of your "safe" driving from a vehicle behind you on friday, and I would of warned you too if I was in John's possition, but hey, maybe you should get better tyres? I guess it's why I like to hang around with my father's acquaintances of the older generation of "been there, accomplished that" than people of my own age group with rather inflated unwarranted egos....
  17. Went to the unveiling of the new V8 Skelta, Ray has done an awesome job on it, looks and sounds fantastic, but I still wont sell my GTR's. Some pics from the mobile: http://www.filedump.net/cameronbnr/v8skelta/
  18. Dad is running again this year with Ray Vandersee in the Skelta. atm we are helping Paul Bergman get his R33 GTR N1 ready for it to compete in targa again, should do well this year. Targa Tas is definatly a must do in a lifetime, will get there one day
  19. taken somewhere in Brisbane
  20. I got Nissan FAST last night and found some part #'s today. might help others. "Rear Truck Emblem" GTR Badge on the boot = 84896-05U05 "Moulding Assey Front Door Outside Right" hard outer seal on the door = 80820-04U00 or 80820-04U03 "Moulding Assey Front Door Outside Left" hard outer seal on the door = 80821-04U00 or 80821-04U03 "Label Rocker Cover" Twin Cam 24 Valve Badge on the coil pack cover = 13290-05U00 "Front Finisher Fascia Right" (N1 Vent RHS) = 62256-06U00 "Front Finisher Fascia Left" (N1 Vent LHS) = 62257-06U00
  21. thanks mate, yeah the hard outer seal on the door, mines all faded and worn from polishing etc. The only part numbers I found were: RETAINER-WEATHERSTRIP,RH = 76870-04U00- RETAINER-WEATHERSTRIP,LH = 76871-04U00- I have just been going through yahoo auctions in Japan and looking for brand new oem items for sale and getting the numbers off the pics
  22. Could I get some part numbers please, all the numbers I have found conflict.. Car is a R32 GTR with VIN: BNR32-003362 I need part numbers for: 1. Rear boot badge 'GTR' for the 'black pearl' colour. (the colour code is 732) I had this part number "84896-05U05", but I dont know what colour its for.. 2. Driver's and Passenger's outer window seals, long strip on the outside of the doors. 3. N1 front bumper vents both left and right, not sure if they are colour specific but in the black pearl #732 if possible. the only part number I could find is "62256-06U00 ‘GRILLE-FR BPR,R" but I think that is only for the right hand side vent in gun metal grey... 4. The engine coil pack cover's badge, the "Nissan Twin Cam 24 Valve" one thanks
  23. thanks guys, alot of great advice. Car is reasonably modified ~500hp atw for now. I believe the twin pumps in the surge tank are doing most of the heating of the fuel, as 2rismo said, I am looking at it from a 'preventative maintenance' point of view with longevity of the fuel pumps. I do run the return line straight back into the surge tank, I'll have to dig out the flow figures I worked out on the setup. its just basically a single 044 in tank supplying 2 x 044's in the surge tank. I've done abit of reading on fuel temps going into the motor, seems there isn’t a one side positive and negative on it. one side say, cooler fuel = cooler intake charge / less pinging etc when on the other side argue warmer fuel temps = more atomized fuel/better burn/combustion. there is a place under the car I was thinking of putting it in, directly under the drivers side rear passenger's foot well, could run some form of duct up to it.
  24. It still is a street car, but also want to do the sprints, time attack and topgear events. I am currently just running bp ultimate with a 15% toluene mix, but I am looking into other fuels, a friend told me yesterday with one of his old high hp cars switched to running the e85, and it gained a nice ammount of hp from it.
