commision please stan.. lol - kiddin.. dude just drive 30-40mins, theres a gazzillion workshops that work on imports around problem with that is you then have to get home if they are going to be holding onto your car for a while.. and get there to pick it up.. personally I like somewhere reasonably close to where I live
-
Depends on what your after.. Stan and some guys run NBP - northern beaches performance.. give him a pm - username Satanic.. there are usually plenty of workshops, not many specific for skylines.. be interested to see where you end up heading too.. keep us posted..
-
Usually the thrust bearing required comes with your clutch kit.. some have different sizes.. you could pull it down, than goto some bearing places and see if you can get a similar one..
-
I believe the only people that have started to translate it are the NZ guys.. They don't have much on the R34 - so it might be worth emailing them at http://www.jpnz.co.nz/handbooks.html and see if they have it..
-
That's awesome.. well done..
-
Wow - has been a weekend of car accidents from the sounds of it.. sorry to hear about drew - hopefully he's ok and sorry to hear about the other driver..

There is a number of things that are essential for losing wait 1. Energy Used > Energy taken in - this is a big one that alot of people don't actually take into account - look at what you are eating.. don't eat a pack of chips.. have some fruit.. make dinner yourself, don't buy anything takeaway.. make your lunch, don't buy it.. atleast that way you know what's going into you.. try cutting your daily intake by 1/3rd and see how you go.. try not to crash diet as well.. change the way you think about what you eat, when you eat.. and in the long run it will benefit you.. 2. Exercise.. as they say without both Dieting + Exercise you won't achieve what you want.. Start off slow.. than build up - for the first 30mins when running your body is mainly using up available energy stores.. not stored fats (which is what you want to burn up).. Change where you run.. don't just do the same track.. add some hills.. stairs.. Make sure you stretch before and after as well.. If going to the gym, more reps < weight is for toning.. also change your exercise, doing the same thing your body becomes used to it and doesn't lose weight.. heavy weights < reps will just bulk you up - but won't neccessarily lose much weight.. although more muscle mass - higher your metabilism.. remember if you become lazy you'll put the fat back on as your muscle mass reduces and you keep eating the same amount of food!!! Majority of weight lost in the beginning is water.. it takes time to actually start losing fat vs. water storage.. - cut out all the sugar you normally have.. coke zero - pepsi max have no sugar and have caffeine boosting your metabilism.. also - stay motivated.. find someone else to do it with.. have a target and keep positive.. you fluctuate.. and always will.. you get sick, stop running goes up.. than you drop again as you get back into it.. Good luck to everyone..

Good luck with getting your car back.. who would have known the car was in the carpark? can you see it from the street.. if not - than there is a chance it could be someone in your building that helped organise it.. if they took your battery out - it would have prints on it if they weren't wearing gloves..

Hey Stan.. If i'm right: The two other fines were each 3 points... the Corolla is registered in her mum's name so her mum copped one at 3pts and she copped the other at 3points. I'm guessing she's already taken the 3 points on her green p's license.. than when she gets the new one - it either a) carries them over or b) resets to 12 points.. so potentially she has 3 or 6 points left.. Hope she sorts it out - i've got 3 gone for going through a school zone too fast.. not good at all..

Wrong Petrol In Skyline! Unleaded Instead Of Premium...
Links replied to PAV34's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
if you put unleaded in.. stay off boost and either a) add octane booster or b) fill up with premium straight away.. the car will be fine.. -
There isn't a manual for the actual interior/exterior/chassis of the car.. only the engine for the R33.. only the R32 manual has everythhing.. As for taking the doors apart.. pull off the plastic surrounding the door latch (inside).. undo all the screws around the edges.. the bit with the power window buttons is next.. it has a metal clip right in the middle.. pretty hard to get off.. but it pulls straight up with a bit of effort.. once you've done that.. pull the panel off.. that should be it - might have missed something.. good luck though.. there is some annoying parts but you'll manage.. just take it slow..
-
^^ that they take to officially controlled events.. Carefuly where you race, especailly when you are in the middle of nowhere.. If something happened - and it can.. you'd be in some serious shit.. and you wonder why people criticise your posts.. you say "I wasn't street racing" well - sorry.. not much difference between what you were doing and on the street racing..

Son of a friggin.. AHAHAHAHA.. god.. it is friday..
-
Wow - that's absolutely screwed - what have the police said? got any photos of him from your parties? Give them to the police I guess.. good luck with it.. Did you have insurance out of interest? had you signed your car over to him?
-
Hmm.. something to think about.. i'll see how much they are.. $300 isn't too bad.. not carbon fibre - probably something light and possibly flimsy..
-
Hey Guys, My bonnet is getting fixed next week, however they are going to pannel beat it rather than replace it (what would you rather).. I'm trying to find out the price for a second hand one or new one if they exist.. I don't want a carbon fibre one as they all seem to have vents in them (not to my liking - defectable).. I need the name of some places that I could try calling around the northern beaches/chatswood/north sydney.. Any help would be great.. Links It's a Silver R33 SII btw - check out my avatar for an idea of it..
-
True - BB.. Good result Staunch - was just interseted in knowing what they did as it's quite impressive for a R33 running a stock ECU.. As I also own a stock R33 i'm keen to know what are some good ways to get power and you seem to have done very well.. Also on a full power run I would usually expect to see some form of R&R happening with 12PSI.. but eh.. some are just lucky.. Careful running the turbo at 12PSI that it doesn't destroy the exhaust wheel on it..

Blown Engine .... What Should I Do?
Links replied to Scooby_Steve's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Are you looking at maybe running higher boost or giving the engine a bit of a harder workout.. If so i'd look at Duncan's option with some forged pistons as that will just keep you safe for the future.. Good luck with it - adding it up - Duncans comes to about $2500/$3000 without Forged pistons..
