  1. im pretty sure its now called v-power coz thats what its called in europe. sort of a would wide standard. ps. anyone ever read the "new unleaded" brocher where it "gets you further" down the bottom it says in a small disclaimer that the fuel used during the test is "diferant" from what is curently available localy lol so yah it doesnt get you further lol
  2. yes it does, the gears dont just break. they break because of the shock loading when you jamm it in gear ie: crunch it. if it doesnt crunch it will last a long time. if it crunches then smash. end of story. so the gears are the same. but the twin synchro is stronger because of the above reason. ps. after doing 12 boxes in my dr30 i got used to knowing how and when the would pop. l series,fj,rb. the rb lasted the longest. all same gears
  3. they dont hve one standard anyway ps... the thing at the rear is NOT a tailshaft loop
  4. just like any dog engagment transmission. they need to be stripped down every coulpe of races and crack tested to ensure the dont break.
  5. well it all comes down to the ofset. eg. 355mm + big reds aka f50 and gtp falcon dont fit behind 17s but they can be made to fit by a deeper ofset disc (moving the caliper inward) im gonna get some brackts made so i can fit them behind my 17s. ps.. who wanyts a f40 kit ? theyl be obsolete soon
  6. yes. it has variable steering. ie: eletric solidoid on the rack that changes the presure in the rack. soft at low speeds, firm at hi speeds etc etc
  7. thats decent. been a while sine theres been a retarded amount of power bieng made. to far between i say.. nice work
  8. corect me if im wrong. but im pretty sure the v-cam systen uses pretty small cams with not much lift. ie. your stuck with then because of valve interferance isuues.
  9. holy crap. thats bad. poor car
  10. lol at your username hehe
  11. ps. thats a 300zx or a gtr rear shaft pictured. looks good but
  12. screwing around with driveline angles isnt fun. the 1 piece is good for cars that dont have it corect to begin with. aka 300zx and the old commodoore lol.
  13. if you can aford 3k then defenetly worth it
  14. just unbelievably grabby. about 2mm of friction point at the pedal
  15. there both the same "strength" hell a series 1 bluebird with a l20b is the same(gears etc) the turbo one is less prone to breaking from abuse because its got twin synchros on 2nd and 3rd.
  16. im still reluctant.. but for the money. you cant compete. i stil scoure ebay for ex-race car brakes. the only down point int can see is there quite bulky and arnt diferential bore piston sizes. (to avoid taperd pad ware)
  17. interesting though
  18. :pawned:
