  1. Funny how 0.5 sec is an irrelevance in the real world, yet an eternity in F1 terms. damn that quick little barstid Year for the second title?.. if somehow the RB8 manages to be a dog all season hmmm...
  2. Redbull, Redbull, McLaren, McLaren, Ferrari, Ferrari thanks for coming
  3. bloody hell- Rosbergs car's running so low
  4. sucked in Kamikaze
  5. it's almost laughable that the top teams can be ~4 seconds a lap quicker on soft tyres than the also-rans flogging their super-softs for all they're worth
  6. tru dat
  7. you can attribute a large portion of Marks overtakes to him losing around 13 places from every start and then having a bunch of slower cars in front
  8. iono? Ivanovich might know
  9. yes, quite possible. Jenson's consistency is one of his strengths
  10. dishonest?? hardly he won the title in '08, so I'll assume you meant '07. if the MP4-22 was the best car, Alonso should have walked a third title after coming off back-to-back WDC's with Renno Webber's stock on Wall, balls-wise, done shot way up in my books after his refusal to bitch-out to Gonzo on the way in to Eau Rouge. that would have been the mother of all accidents had Fernando tagged Marks tyre rejoining the track.
  11. not so. Alonso wouldn't be beating Webber if that was the case, clearly
  12. you never picked up on the 'is it because I'm black, yo?' thing being a tongue-in-cheek jest? Vettel's leading because he's a great driver in this season's greatest car (Mark having the same equipment, but being (on balance) an inferior driver) I'd be willing to bet Hamilton would be leading if he had a whip like the RB7 that was capable of being around half a second quicker in qualifying at pretty much every track fixed that for ya
  13. umad coz you don't see Hamilton as being worthy of his drivers title?
  14. you've mistakenly assumed I care what you think, sir rookie mistake
  15. coupla points: • from a performance perspective, fitting tyres that are far too narrow for the rim is just carrying extra weight and reducing clearance for no good reason. a manufacturer would be looking to fit at least a 285 tyre to a rim that wide from the factory • they're so much wider than standard rims you'll need to have the car engineered to make 'em legal of course, if you're one of these 'drift-look tyre-stretch' fashion slaves, or just like to tell people at the pub you've got 10 inch wide wheels- go nuts
  16. who's going to win? someone driving a McLaren, Redbull, Ferrari, Mercedes (possibly) or (at a rank outside chance) a Renault. lulz
  17. way too wide for a GTSt in 10", esp in that offset. you'd have clearance issues fo' sure would make more sense to get a staggered set, in widths more suited to the tyre size
  18. such an amazingly even shear break
  19. I'll prolly buy it if they've significantly improved the graphics over last year. It's just lame compared to GT5 on my TV
  20. "Arrrrrgh- Make way for Willllly!"
  21. that guy that won a WDC in his second season, and already has more race wins and podium finishes than most drivers achieve in a whole career? yeah, I've heard of him
  22. epic lolz on the faux radio convo
  23. As was previously suggested, di Resta would be good. Or maybe Heidfeld since he's been screwed over by Renno.
  24. assuming Lewis made the decision about the 7th gear ratio
  25. fkn this Seems Rosso B was disinclined to agree with you; Given he felt the need to broadcast 'Leave room at Ascari' before the stewards handed out a penalty
